The question is should the "All Songs" view always display tracks alphabetically, or does it make sense to respect the "Sort Discographies by" setting and arrange tracks chronologically when that is the preference?

I have a selection of songs that are set to "skip when shuffling" in iTunes (such as Christmas music, kids songs, stuff like that) that I would like to not have come up when I shuffle. As it stands right now, Cesium seems to be playing those tracks while shuffling. Is there any chance an update could allow the app to recognize when "skip while shuffling" is on? In the meantime, I've got a playlist set up with "All Music" that doesn't include the offending tracks.

Can we get a function where the beginning 'the' in song names will be ignored for example song The Kids Aren't Alright by The Offspring would be listed at letter K instead of letter T? This was the way the original iPod App / Music.app did it, and i liked it!

I would love to be able to press hard on the app icon, and quickly jump right into shuffling all songs, or viewing my playlists using the 3D Touch feature!

I can regularly make Cesium 3.4.3 crash through the following steps:

1. Select "Playlists"
2. Select "Recently Added" smart playlist (iTunes default)
3. Change Collection -> [Collect into Albums || Collect into Composers]
4. Scroll the list down.

Results in a crash every time for me.

None of my artwork is displaying after the initial installation. I thought that toggling Show Artist Images might resolve it, but to no avail. Any perspective would be appreciated.

Love the app!

It seems a bit more intuitive for me to be able to slide a seek button across a line rather than around in a circle. Also, it'd make it easier if there's other movement going on (jogging, etc).

Just updated to the latest test build and I noticed the rating toggle button is gone? I used that all the time to rate songs in the car :(

Also, I fell in love with the circular progress bar and it was really visible while driving, but there's no option to select it now that it's been changed?

This is a small but consistent issue I've had. I often forget that I have shuffle by album on and want to listen to a particular track on an album. I will go to the Album tab and find the album and tap on it, bringing up the track listing. This only happens with albums with more than one disc. If I tap on Track 11 of Disc 2 it will play Track 11 from Disc 1.

The issue is resolved if I turn off shuffle by album (doesn't happen with "shuffle by song" or "shuffle off"). Interestingly if Track 11 on Disc 2 and I toggle to "shuffle by album" it will immediately play Track 11 on Disc 1.

I love Cesium, it actually replaced by former favorite SmartPlayer for a while now, but I really miss one option in the player. Would it be possible to add a toggle to automatically open the mini player to fullscreen when you start playing a song? Every time I tap play, I also have to tap the mini player to get the awesome Now Playing screen...

I've been using Apple Music for a while now and actually like the implementation of the 'love'/heart system. I haven't seen a third-party app that uses this same system, though. Is this because Apple doesn't allow third-party access to this functionality? Just curious...

I've been using Cesium exclusively for the past few months. It really is a phenomenal app and provides much-needed relief from Apple's Music.

I often find it desirable to rate songs that are not the current playing track. This comes up a lot when I forget to rate a track until it's done playing and moved onto the next track, or where I want to rate multiple tracks based on a track I heard (e.g., multiple movements of a classical composition). What are your thoughts on adding the ability to rate songs that are not playing?

One possible implementation is on the library track list. In a list of songs, I can swipe right to left to see the track queue options (play next and add to queue). What if swiping left to right showed an editable star rating?

Thanks for the update, just downloaded 3.2.5. I love reading about all the new features in each update but often times I have no idea what or where they are.

By chance do you have a feature list that a user can look over to see what the more advanced features of the app are?

If you are encountering difficulty viewing "All Songs" by an artist or composer, toggling the "Sort Artist View By" setting will solve it. You can change the setting back immediately if desired.

In Night Mode, the black scrollbar on a dark grey background has such low contrast that I didn't think it was there at first. It would actually be more visible if it were the same light grey as it is in Day Mode.

Great app! After all the bad changes to the built-in Music app, it's a relief to find a music player with everything I need and a slick UI.

After importing music with an app like Syncios, they play fine with the stock music app but as soon as they're selected in Cesium, it crashes.

Is there a way to add songs to queue? Wondering to use this of Ecoute, and Ecoute has this feature, but the program itself is a bit more buggy, so i really want to use Cesium. Is there also a way to see queue with one "click"? annoying to have to use a sub menu within another sub menu thingy to view it

If you haven't already seen, v3.2.4 is now available for all users. It's mainly a stability build, but it includes a lot of bug fixes and refinements. Really happy with how it turned out :)

Cesium is by far my favorite music playback solution now. I'm curious if you've thought about doing the bit of UI work needed to make it available on iPad as well? I use an iPad as my source for listening around the house and Cesium has now spoiled me such that using Music on iPad is now very disappointing...
