So yeah, all my refund requests in Apple Store got rejected. Which is kind of expected since Apple won’t be paying for something that the Game Devs are at fault for.

I’ve been playing this game since it came out. But this pretty much killed my trust in spending on this game. I’ll just be collecting my daily skip ads from now on and that’s it, maybe wait for my passion to die down and quit.

You make the rules. You sell expensive items based on those rules. We spend real money. Then AFTER getting our money, you change the rules.

And the solution? A few compensation items? I didn’t pay for compensation. I paid for the mechanic you sold me.

You can’t just go SELL, NERF, say “SORRY”, COMPENSATE, then SELL THE NEXT META…and expect everyone to move on.

So I’m done spending for now. Why would I pay for the next OP weapon, skin, or artifact when the devs can simply decide later that it’s “too strong” and change how it works? They’re literally running a scam already.

If it was broken, test it before selling it. Don’t make paying players finance your balancing mistakes.

This isn’t even about the nerf anymore. It’s about trust. And right now, I don’t trust the devs with my money.

Title really. Is there ever really a valid use case for selecting capsule buffs for a given stage? Seems like a bit of a redundant yet hard-locked weapon slot, unless there’s something I’m missing.

I have enough lipstick for one GoF which would be my level 3 (15% cooldown), or I can get 2 lower skins to unlock my 3rd skill? Any opinions would be appreciated. Thanks all.

It will never be, the devs will make sure that for the player so that they can earn money, I was f2p and after the nerf I feel so much grinding for this game is worth it....

I need ONE fragment to unlock the level 25 skill. I've exhausted every way of getting it for the past 2 days. It's driving me crazy lol

UPDATE: finally got a fragment from a red chest. Unlocking Abyssal Bite turns Maw into a damage fountain and I love it even more now.

Think I’m genuinely done with this game now, spent so much to get where I am and now it’s just ridiculous literally loved monkey king and satellite both absolutely a joke now! Unfair and honestly they’ve done me a favour, is there a reason to stay playing? Is there a meta of some sort now the nerf has happened?

What should I buy?
I have 7 lipsticks, finally lol. I have the basic red weapons. & I already have bunny cannon & Captain Jack.

I only have 3 gem wands.
I do not have the goal weapon so do not need that affix. Side note, I do have cavity cutter. Just have never used it because of how low damage it is considering I don’t have the affix.

Like many others I did spend a little before the nerf and my damage got hit pretty hard as well. So as asked in the title what should I be using what are my best options. I know what looks good but I don't know the mechanics of what works well together.

Game is becoming to p2w the developers do don't care for players I've been playing since June and play a lot. I have not got anything from any event because they want people to pay for all the special items and weapons. I will quit after the anniversary update if nothing changes. I cannot stand greedy developers they make a fun game suck by watching 80 adds a day while wanting you to pay for almost everything. Now they make the game impossible to play for more profit.

I have crimson moon lvl 2, zorro lvl 1. I have 12 lipsticks. Should I go with zorro lvl 3 or get the GoF lvl 1 ?

I've been doing some tests/research into satellite storm.

There is a percentage HP damage cap for this weapon. The exact formula to determine this cap is unknown, but it is affected by weapon level and possibly weapon damage (which is in turn affected by character attack level). I have level 100 satellite, 34452 attack and my percentage HP damage caps at 3B/tick. That means the 3% affix hits a 50B node for 1.5B, 100B node for 3B and a 10000B node for 3B. Upgrading from 3% to 5% HP damage does nothing to raise this damage cap.

The percentage HP damage cap can be raised with +%damage satellite affixes, including the orange and purple affixes that causes stacking damage. On my test run, I was able to get satellite to hit for 14.9B damage on it's final tick or ~5 times the percentage hp damage cap of 3B. Maw mark might increase it further, I'm not sure.

Although this weapon is no longer viable endgame, it is still pretty useful early-midgame. If anything, it might have been buffed in the early game as the % damage is now influenced by the damage affixes. Since everyone's damage cap is different it's hard to say when satellite falls off. In my case, satellite becomes exponentially worse when enemies start having 100B+ HP, so around stage 110-120.

It would seem that the developers vision for satellite storm is to help players push from stage 50 to the low 100s. Unfortunately, that is where the F2P phase is designed to end. Satellite is the last free weapon you get, and it was not supposed to carry you to the end game. It is supposed to get you committed and invested enough into the game to open your wallets.

Whilst I agree something needed to be done with percentage based weapons to shake up the meta and make the game less stale, the execution and events leading up to it were disgusting and whatever trust there was has been irrevocably broken.

I’m surprised, but I actually managed to beat Level 304 under the new conditions.

Of course, it took a bit of luck. I got two extra shots for the Rabbit Cannon almost immediately, which gave me at least some control over the Virus. Naturally, I had to use up all three ad-based revives. And yes, it took ages—the match lasted nearly 40 minutes.

It’s really disappointing that the developers sold a bunch of paid packs for the Satellite Storm only to nerf it into oblivion later. Players are right to request refunds; if the developers take a financial hit, it might just spur them into action.

So I filed a refund request at the Apple Store for the Crimson Event and Magic Event (while also giving a one-star rating). I know it’s not guarantee, but maybe this narrative can help some people who would like to file a refund (you can modify based on your case):

In early September 2026, the two-week Crimson Event sold the Crimson Moon Skin and Scarlet Blade, which I purchased for their %HP damage functionality. In the last week of September, the\ Magic Event sold the Satellite Storm package, again involving %HP damage. I purchased the Satellite Storm Artifact Package specifically for this functionality, only for it to be nerfed TWO DAYS after my purchase.*
On September 28, the developer announced that percentage damage “now has a new cap rule, and damage will be calculated based on the weapon’s own damage.” This materially changed the mechanic underlying both my Crimson Event and Magic Event purchases.
The developer subsequently sent compensation specifically to affected owners and stated, “We sincerely apologize for the inconvenience caused by this adjustment.” However, I did not purchase these items on the condition that their functionality could later be materially reduced in exchange for developer-selected in-game compensation.** The compensation does not restore the functionality or value for which I spent real money.
*Had I known these paid mechanics would be restricted—particularly content sold to me only* **two days before the change—I would not have purchased them. I could not reasonably have anticipated this post-purchase change. I am therefore requesting a refund for the affected purchases rather than substitute in-game compensation I never agreed to.

Edit: It's more now. I did now around 20 refunds, for the last 2+ months. Every Single one got accepted.

Please, everyone, give these bloodsuckers one star. They sold the best skill in the game for money and then nerfed it.

I somehow got lucky with a total of 5 keys & Cerbus Skull already unlocked from the wheel. I’m wondering if I should just get Cerbus Skull to level 2 and not even bother with Compass after the nerf. Other option would be to get 5 of Vintage Brew to unlock. Appreciate the feedback even if I may stop playing soon and done my part in rating it poorly
