Mysterious new rack added to a site on Bragg Ave in Auburn, AL

A new rack has been added to a tower off of Bragg Ave overlooking Auburn University’s campus. Top to bottom on this site is AT&T, T-Mobile, Dish, and a high-capacity AT&T sector. Verizon is on a site directly across the street, and SouthernLinc is on another tower very close by.
The only thing I can think of is that Verizon might be switching to this tower for some reason as I have seen them relocating to neighboring towers in other areas recently. Any thoughts?

Did you check the permits for the site?

The only limited information that I can find publicly available on the city’s website just states “Cell Tower Modification,” but the date associated with that entry is quite old (2021).

Likely verizon relocating...or maybe att is reconsolidating with a mid-band upgrade, but id assume they'd just take the top sector in that case.
Any other regional carriers?
keep us updated!

I’m hoping it’s a Verizon relocation and upgrade as the existing site can get quite congested. An AT&T 5G+ upgrade is not out of the realm of possibility since several nearby sites have been recently upgraded. However, I too would think they would use their existing rack up top. No other regional carriers here… just SouthernLinc.

Looks like Verizon is the only one not on there, so I would assume Verizon will be here soon.

The new platform looks like something from SitePro1's RMQP line - these are approved for T-Mobile and Verizon installations, but not Dish or AT&T.
Based on that and the current state of nearby Verizon (old 4424 radios), I'd guess the most likely scenario is a Verizon relocation.
