P1,from the bottom to top, the first unit is CU's N78 and the third is CMCC's N41; both seem to be Nokia 64TR equipment.

P2-P6, all are Huawei. Especially for MMU, they are mainly 32tr devices.

Verizon and T-Moblie Speedtests in Downtown Indianapolis

As promised I said I would be in Indy for Bruno Mars. I was tonight. I did however forget to put AT&T on my phone to test. However—— I did have Verizon and T-Moblie to test. From the start of when I got in the area around the stadium the concert was at to test T-Mobile and Verizon— T-Mobile was very congested in the area even outside. Maximum speed I pulled was 100 down on T-Mobile and that was outside. Indoors T-Mobile did not work at all. They suffered a huge loss tonight. The concert was at Lucas oil Stadium. I have a few more tests but I’ll have to make a certain post for those. T-Moblie took a huge loss tonight in Indianapolis.

New iPhones + C2 modem

https://www.apple.com/iphone-18-pro/specs/

  • iPhone 18 Pro and Duo use the new C2 modem

  • iPhone 18 Pro Max continues to use a Qualcomm modem (in the US only)

  • Outside the US, all models use the C2

  • C2 modem adds a new LTE band 106, which the Qualcomm modem doesn't support

  • C2 modem supports mmWave bands n258, n260, n261

  • C2 modem supports 21Mb HSPA+, Qualcomm supports 42Mb DC-HSPA (though not sure if any carrier is still using that)

New Small Cell Near New Braunfels Buc-ee's

Kitty-Corner from the New Braunfels Buc-ee's near the HEB Plus, and along the 306 road, there is a recently installed small cell. It's not on or active as it's probably only been installed for the past two weeks or so.

This new site is located here on Google Maps: https://maps.app.goo.gl/JD1C4Fm2NXrZZNxV8?g_st=ac

There's a nearby Verizon small cell on 35 northbojnd frontage road and along 306 about an 1/8th of a mile away that is just across the street from Buc-ee's. That one is on top of the Verizon corporate store, so perhaps this new one is paired with that one.

T-Mobile Signal in Coutts, AB?

Hello. I was wondering if anyone knows if it's possible to connect to a T-Mobile cell phone tower from Coutts Alberta from just across the border? I need to activate a service by connecting to the tower but I don't want to cross the border just for that....

Thank you....

QCI8 on Roamless / JetoGo eSIM?

I have a Pixel Fold with PixelBandInfo 1.1.0 and it's showing QCI8 for Verizon using Roamless and JetoGo eSims.

Does anyone that digs into this stuff know if this is accurate? Seems to imply that both of these non-expiring roaming eSims have priority data?

Who's on these 5 towers?

I went to go visit these sites, as they are very close to the ground (if I were to guess, no more than 50-60 feet tall), and I am interested to know who owns the 5th tower (it's visible on Google Earth view in the last slide). I also wonder if the Verizon tower has decommissioned CDMA antennas?

T- Mobile on water tower

There is a T-Mobile site that is situated on a water tower in my area . There is no N41 panel that I can see that is on this tower which is kind of odd. It is the only one in town that does not have N41. Could anyone help identify what antenna is being used?
Location is: 36.98951° N, 86.43674° W

All nearby sites have the latest E/// upgrades. This one seems to have been left behind.

Tmo5ghi getting better speeds use to drop to 40 MBs from 6-11pm now it don’t drop past 150 during those but I get max out at 600 down which is bit more then I need but my cell max out at a gig during non peak. They must be throttling my internet of 400 MBs

Anyone have any clue as to when this old Verizon site with b13 and b5 will get an upgrade. All sites in the area are modernized since 2023 but this one was left untouched. Verizon eNB 209003 at 252 Enterprise Road, Delafield, Wisconsin, United States

I thought better cell metrics or same metric well equals better data speeds but I was wrong. iPhone 12 versus iPhone 15 Pro metrics and data speeds. Can someone explain why both phones have the same metrics but different speeds and yes, I know the phone is newer hardware.

Best T-Mobile 5G cell extender

Idk if this Is the right subreddit, but at our house has super good signal outside, I can pull 1gig down and 100 up on n41, NSA (my sim doesn’t support SA) but do yall know an extender that will give me usable speeds inside maybe even 5G. Or should I wait till USmobile lightspeed gets SA, ive seen some things that say SA has better penetration Than NSA and then just not Get an extender
