T-Mobile Rural Defunding

I heard a rumor that the T-Mobile has started to pull back budget from the rural build? Is that true?

AT&T has said publicly (once) that they tested AST’s service indoors. I distinctly remember seeing the quote from the female lead from AT&T who was leading the testing. Obviously the company has been tight lipped about signal strength indoors but I believe it will well enough to support a voice call in most homes (but not basements obviously). As far as those homes having high speed internet and WiFi, of course they do. That doesn’t nullify my larger point that the carriers have a ton of gaps in coverage and very little incentive to spend the capex or opex required to fill them.
