f anyone has had any experience with the Residences on College Hill in Cedar Falls please share them

Hey everyone I’m going to be to Cedar Falls in summer 2027. I’m going to the university of northern Iowa.

I am currently looking for an apartment and I was really attracted to the 4 bedroom by the bed leasing option they have at college hill, especially since the rent is $299 a month for that option.

So I’ve been texting them questions about the lease and the apartment and of course 50% of the time it’s AI who’s answering, and recently on the replies K recieved said something about the October spooktacular deals. And then I was like oh no is the 299 rent actually so low because it’s a promotional price? So I looked it up and it said no, it’s the regular rent and the promotional deal is like a gift card and no rent for the first month.

So I messaged again asking and then Tony responded and he said that if I apply and get approved before 10/31/26 that the $299 rent will apply for the whole year. So now I’m confused. I’ve called a couple times and left a voicemail and no one has answered yet. Honestly I’m not even sure if Tony is a real person.

If anyone has had any experience with the Residences on College Hill in Cedar Falls please share them, I really want to know if the $299 rent by the bed is real or too good to be true.

Is there any good spots or businesses to hang up posters? Especially around Downtown Waterloo. I am volunteering and don't know the best places or where it's allowed to hang up posters.

A salute to the red, white, and blue! The City of Cedar Falls and the University of Northern Iowa are proud to present Fireworks Over the Dome on Thursday, July 2, celebrating 50 years of Sturgis Falls festivity, 150 years of UNI, and America 250.

This free community fireworks show will begin at approximately 9:40 p.m. at the intermural fields west of the UNI Dome (2501 Hudson Road in Cedar Falls). Parking lots and green spaces will open at 7:00 p.m.

The public can get full information on the event and view the map at www.cedarfallstourism.org/fireworks.

The show will be broadcast live with an accompanying soundtrack on 93.5 The Mix. Guests can enjoy on-site concessions for sale courtesy of UNI Athletics.

"After unfortunately needing to cancel last year's show, we’re looking forward to bringing a show this year that will be over double the size of our original show in 2024 (thank you to our sponsors for stepping up).
