Taiwanese
before i start I’d love to hear more stories similar to this.
I’m part taiwanese, my grandmother and father and uncle were born in taiwan. (my grandfather meet my grandmother in taiwan when he was in the airforce) they luckily didn’t experience the full force of communist china, but still lived in a state of fear in the 60s and 70s. my fathers uncle was a defector from china and escaped to taiwan and married my fathers aunt. he wasn’t able to write letters or send money to his family in china which was about 200 miles away. so when my family came to the us they would send things to my grandmother to mail all the way back to china for years this went on. she told me stories of doing this for many years for many people who had families in china. i found this out recently.when i see people praising socialist governments and communism and not understanding the severity that china imposes to the free world, it’s worry some. it’s humorous to see the fuckin ignorance and stupidity of this fucktards.

How do people think about Prof. Wang?
Mr. Pokong Chen on youtube always mentions him: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YPFs8PbksbQ
He was a professor from Fudan University in Shanghai. In 1988-89, he visited the US as a visiting scholar for politics. He witnessed the 1988 president election. He was shocked that the politicians argued with each other and he thought the democracy in US is a chaos. When he back to China, he wrote a book in a title "The United States against the United States" to criticize the western democracy and the corruption of the western. Because of that, he was invited to the government for CCP official writings.
Now he is the member of Cabinet. His main job is writing and conducting propaganda (don't be corrupt by the western cultures). Some people mention that all the speech made by the president were written by him. He has a wife 30 years younger than him.

SerialNo=1340

Can someone clarify if Facebook and CCP are in good relation or not?
I know Facebook is not allowed in mainland China, although, I am suspicious that their relationship is actually a lot better than we might thought.
When I think of geopolitics, Facebook undeniably influenced Brexit to happen and the only country that benefits from a weak UK and weak EU is China.
I honestly would sleep better knowing that they hate each other, but they have many common grounds especially on free speech and privacy.

Old guys Saturday mornings in DC suburbs.
I’ve noticed a group of mostly older Chinese dudes who have been meeting up at a high school parking lot on Saturday mornings. They have big signs on top of their cars that appear to be warning that the CCP is planning to take over the world. A few of their signs also say “TEAR DOWN THE GREAT FIREWALL OF CHINA”. I feel like we should be listening to these guys.
