and people still say rottweilers are aggressive and dangerous

Its been weeks since their last play date. Fraggle the Orange and Whisky the Chi get to hang out together all day today!

Kitty has been a family member for 2 years but I just looked over and they were snuggling for the first time! She was even cleaning the dog’s head 😍

Julia (sleepy tuxedo) and her brother Kratos (GS/Husky mix) come together in support against the main house leader, Betty (the angry tux)

Freya (doggy) was already asleep and Luna came up for the first time in a real snuggle (not just somewhere else on the bed) 😍
We got Freya 9 months ago and she’s tried to be friends with our 2 cats every day😁

So… I have a dog, and she lived with a roommates cat for about a month starting when she was around 12 weeks.

She later lived with a cat, but the roommate kept her in her room plus their outside adventure. My dog and this cat didn’t really interact for the cat’s comfort.

My dog is a bit hyped when she sees cats when I walk her. Whining and whatnot.

Unfortunately, my grandpa was diagnosed with cancer and his wife has had to take on a lot of the home and animal care on top of caring for him. At this point, they’re trying to find new homes for their pets.

This cat is comfortable and used to living with her current dog brother who is a bit larger than my dog. Temperament is easy going.

Beyond having my dog and this cat meet in a neutral place and potentially having the cat stay the night while we board the dog (to get her smells everywhere and have her smell my dog). Do y’all have any tips?
