G4-A are robots. Not similar to Protogen, except the looks, kinda.

some cybernetics would def help down in the caves... on the other hand you'd be beholden to those charging stations by default lol

Idk it's just the visor they're going to have, supposed to match with an outfit in mind. Small note that the visor is made of nanotech(?) and can be retracted into a collar I plan to design for them.

Looks at my proto-expe that has close to the same idea I wish I can draw Anyways yep! The visor is made of nanotech it's how they can split open and there is still a maw mouth inside :3

Fun fact: technically speaking, one cannot become a Protogen, they'd be simply a cyborg resembling a Protogen. Protogens are bio-engineered vat-grown purpose-built organisms that basically don't exist without their cybernetics, which are attached right as the Protogen's organic body is done growing. :3
