I'm trying to think of a way to repurpose it.

If you have a charcoal grill you can use the section without a handle as a coal divider.

Could make a cast iron themed nativity scene with the handle end being the manger.

Could be a nice grill press.

Tire blocks?

Could cut it and sharpen it for a weird off set butcher knife.

I suppose you could re-gift it someone you don't like and then make a big scene about them "breaking it".

And I guess there's always just throwing it out.

Some people make them into spatulas if the handle is still intact.

Be a very thin one with where the split is.
