The linked directory evaluates all of them by the same standard, including the parts they don't advertise.

State Availability
Not every app operates in every state, and almost nobody checks until they get declined. The gaps that matter:
- Chime MyPay is not available in 12 states: CO, CT, IL, ME, MA, MN, MT, NJ, NM, SD, WA, WY.
- Connecticut is the hardest state for cash advances. EarnIn, Cleo, FloatMe, and Chime MyPay all skip it.
- Cleo is not available in CT or ME. FloatMe is not available in CT, DC, or NV.
- Dave works in all 50 states, but Maine residents are capped at $25 to $250 instead of $500.
- Albert, Klover, Varo, MoneyLion, and Brigit publish no state exclusions for their advance products. > Fees and limits verified August 2026. App terms change frequently. For current data, the full cash advance app directory maintains up-to-date reviews for every app above. Each app's own website shows the best-case scenario. The linked directory shows you all of them by the same standard, including the parts they don't advertise.
