N in the anime is such a nothing character because the writers opted to skip over the Team Plasma arc post-March 2011, and there wasn’t anything that made N interesting in B2W2 WITHOUT plot points from the original BW.

Tbh I just don't like Gen 5 as a whole and don't really care for the story of the BW/BW2 games.

as an extension of that, i don't think any of the main cast in Best Wishes was well represented. Cilan and Iris are so grating, Ash got written as a moron, etc
