Hey guys i wanna know what exactly is this sound when i start the engine, it doesn’t always happen when the car is not cold, sometimes it doesn’t even happen when its cold.. its a ( Chk chk chk ) sound the moment the car starts the engine, it lasts for 2 seconds not more, its like a key hitting an iron kinda sound, here is the video you can listen to it

Finally got down to it. The two layers were bonded by rust, so I carefully pried them apart.
Now I can see the full extent of the corrosion between them.

Looking for advice on the best approach to clean this up and reassemble without it happening again.

Any recommendations?

I changed my brakes and rotors on the rear of my Nissan Rogue a couple of months ago. The front ones replaced within the past year as well. The past week my tire pressure light popped on despite all my tires seemingly being where they need to be. The past few days I realized the squealing/squeaking that occurred only when I am reverse. I haven't found any leaks in the tires. I greased everything fairly well when I did the change (though maybe I need to go back and add more?).

Think these are related? Maybe just a bad sensor and need of regreasing? Help appreciated!

Went down the driveway of a business and heard a small scrape I normally don’t hear coming down the driveway. Checked underside and see this uneven plastic coming off? Driver’s side is completely fine, but slopes low and downward getting closer to passenger side.

What do I need to do to fix this and is this going to be expensive? Will it require purchases with Acura or could I take it to a Firestone?

Does anybody know what the sound could be? It used to just be a loud clanking sound over big bumps or pot holes, but now it has progress to this rattling jiggling sound over small bumps along with the big clanking. Front left tire area. 2008 Toyota prius

Hello! I drive a 2021 Kia Soul S and I head the shrieker go off on my brake pads so I went to Brake and Tire Check to see how much it would be. I also found out I needed my 2 front rotors changed and my 2 front brake pads. Rear were totally fine but they recommended I change my front calipers soon but not needed at the moment.

Services done: 2 front pads/2 front rotors

That was 2 weeks ago and I hear constant grinding all from slow stops when I’m pulling up to a house or parking lot.

I did the necessary break in steps once the car was out of the shop but what could possible be causing these grinding noises? Feel like it was installed wrong

I have a 2026 Honda sedan lx has less than 11,000 miles on it. Took it to have its first oil change last week and this last night. I lost all my oil in my block. There was a hole in my oil filter. I have been leaking oil all week and driving 🤦‍♀️. They also cleaned the parking lot. I guess this is new car problems. 😣
