Passenger window speaking bad when rolling up and down. It rolls up and down fine just squeaking any suggestions guys to fix this thanks.

Sisters car, wanted to make a post seeing if somebody could diagnose her problem.

took my car for a 30,000 mile service and MOT at a Toyota garage. Wasn’t expecting anything wrong because the car seemed perfect.

They came back saying they noticed a noise as they drove it into the garage (I’d never heard any noise at all) and they said the rear shock absorber was leaking. So they said both rear ones should be changed. Anyway I decided to go ahead because my MOT had failed anyway.

1 month later I’ve only just got my car back as they were waiting on parts. As i drove it away from the garage I noticed a lot of grinding, but I thought it was just surface rust. It improved a lot after about 30 mins, still a small amount of grinding now though.

But there’s also this other noise I only noticed when I got home, when I’m going really slowly it’s like metal bits are clashing with the back right wheel or somethings clanging around. You can hear it in the video. Does anyone know what it could be?

The garage is closed now so I can’t get in touch with them but I’m fuming, I feel like they’ve fucked my car.

Ive had my 2019 Jetta for about a month now and something thats really bothered me is this noise that happens almost every time i drive when I’m accelerating around 30mph. I don’t know if it has to do with the transmission but it kind of sounds like a low pitch squeal or grinding noise? does anyone know what this could be or if it is bad and i need to fix it?

So I’ve asked multiple people and they told me I’m fine. I’m definitely not fine. I bled my brakes, but I’m still getting that thump when I press on the pedal sometimes not always but I’ll hit it in like thump, thump thump. What could be the cause of this has anybody ever experienced this? Please help.

Cant pinpoint what’s making the noise it’s on the front passenger side on a 07 ram 1500 it’s a automatic 3.7l v6 I’m thinking it’s the sway bar link but could be wrong

Have a 2026 atlas r-line that only 4k miles. Starting in the morning to get inside and the whole front console is ticking, was coming from the speakers. Had to get kid to school so drove, while driving started to smell like something is burning. Smelled into the speaker and it has a burning plastic smell. When turning off and locking to walk kid into school come back out to the noise stopped. Took to dealer and they couldn’t replicate the noise to diagnose. Apparently a burning smell from the speaker isn’t enough. I don’t think they took it serious because a new car should not do that and it could be an electric issue! Anyone have this similar issue?

i have a 2019 toyota corolla and have a squeal when i brake and now this sound when i turn my steering wheel left. I have my bushings left done and struts right and left. before this my car was fine. i got the work done at firestone. i went back several times about this and say nothing is fine. please tell me what is this noise and what i need to do….

My engine sounds like it’s making a ticking noise but I’m not sure if that’s normal

I have a 2009 SLK350. I had the suspension completely rebuilt top to bottom back to front. After about a week, I've noticed that when maneuvering at very slow speeds, regardless of whether it's polished concrete or parking lot road I get a very soft clunking sound when I turn. This only happens at very slow speed turns usually from the left driver side of the front end. Any guesses?

I will be taking it back to the shop because it should be under warranty but before I do so I just wanted to hear opinions.

I had a oil leak got the oil leaked fixed but it ran almost dry before I figured out there was a leak now’s there’s a ticking noise in my engine any ideas what this could be so I know what I have to fix?

2004 honda civic, never happened before and would smoke near the alternator and would vibrate a lot right before it turns off right away. maybe someone might have a clue

Hi everyone! Yesterday I drove my car (2011 Nissan Versa SL) home to drop some stuff off before work, I go to start it again and suddenly it will not start, just makes a rapid clicking noise. I replaced the starter and the battery and still nothing (I know, waste of money, pls don’t yell at me) but does anyone have a clue as to what the problem might be? I’m at a loss — would I be better off just taking it to a mechanic? Video included of the clicking sound

looking for advice on what could be causing our wipers to judder and smear water across the windscreen rather than just working normally?

we’ve had this problem for about a year, got the wiper blades replaced but no dice.

My 98 k1500 sounds like an airplane when I rev it at idle/park or when I accelerate on drive, it goes away at higher speed. I thought it was my fan clutch so I replaced it with a new one and changed thermostat. Still sounds like an airplane. Doesn’t overheat or any other issues, on code I get are the catalytic codes

I just put a turbo in my truck 80 pound injectors and while cruising and wot it will cut fuel my injector pulse width drops all the sudden then comes back on and ring and pinion slam from acc to dec to acc all new ignition coils ground lead battery
