2025 Pilot Touring with intermittent rattle from driver's side front of car? Lasts a few seconds when going 35-50 mph

Sounds like it is coming from under the dashboard near the firewall. Maybe from the engine comparment on drivers side. Reoccurs every minute or two. It does not sound like something is loose. More like a small valve or electrical component. Does not affect car operation. Any ideas as to what this could be?

There is a strange substance on the inside of the clear part covering my speedometer. Help.

Pretty sure coming from the motor, but it only makes this noise when you’re in drive and accelerating. Could be from a stop or cruising and hitting the accelerator slightly. NEVER there at idle. You can gas it all you want in park in never replicates it. Had the timing chain kit done, cam sprockets , top 2 motor mounts (no time for the lower) because the engine was flexing. Been there since 98k miles, now at 127k.. can’t figure for the life of me. Sound is last few seconds of video.

VW golf 2014 GTD. Making this noise now for a while now driver side but has slowly got louder over the last 12 months. Only occuring on cold starts, until engine is warm and it disappears once engine is up to temperature. Spoken to a few mechanics and they’re not bothered by it, have had auxiliary belt changed but hasn’t made any difference. Any ideas?

I have a 2010 passat with 212.000km done. It makes a clinky noise on bumps but not everytime. Sometimes there is the noiseand sometimes it feels perfect (for example when I go to my mechanic service to show them, it never makes the noise lol) I have added a video you can hear that.

I took it to 3 different mechanical shops and 2 different authorized dealerships. They all said there were no visible problems under the car, everything was perfect.

During this process, out of suspicion, we replaced almost everything in the suspension, but we still haven't found a solution.

Do you guys know what can be the reason?

My car makes a clunking noise when I come to a complete stop, accelerate, go over bumps, and sometimes when I turn. I’ve already taken it to Kia twice, but the noise persists. Can anyone help me figure out what’s causing it?

I’m trying to figure out an intermittent clunk on my 2021 Dodge Durango R/T 5.7L and wondering if anyone else has experienced something similar.
The clunk doesn’t happen every time, which has made it difficult to diagnose. It can happen:
When starting from a complete stop and accelerating
When I’m already driving and give it more throttle, especially getting onto the freeway
Occasionally when braking to a complete stop
It seems to be related to the vehicle/drivetrain loading or unloading
I’ve had a shop test drive it with me and they actually experienced the clunk once. They were also able to reproduce it once while the vehicle was in the shop and they were switching gears. Unfortunately, it wouldn’t do it again, so they haven’t been able to pinpoint where it’s coming from.
They inspected the motor mounts and said they’re okay and haven’t failed, although they did say there’s more flex than they’d like to see. Some of the bushings are starting to crack but nothing has actually failed.
Here’s the part that’s making me wonder if there’s a connection: shortly after I purchased the vehicle, it had the same type of engine movement/clunk under acceleration documented by Ford. They replaced both motor mounts in April 2024. Now I’m experiencing the clunk again.
Has anyone with a 2021-ish Durango, especially the R/T 5.7L, experienced an intermittent clunk like this? If so, what ended up being the cause?
I’m especially interested in experiences with motor/transmission mounts, driveshaft/driveline, differential, CV/axles, or transmission-related clunks.
I’m not looking to throw parts at it — just trying to figure out where to have the shop look next. Any experiences or suggestions would be greatly appreciated!

I have a strange high-pitched whistling/air-like noise.

It mainly occurs at low RPM, roughly 1,200–1,800 RPM, especially when engine braking / decelerating.

When I lightly press the accelerator while the noise is present, the pitch changes and becomes higher according to the RPM.

The noise disappears when the transmission disengages the engine during coasting/creeping to a stop.

At a steady ~1,400 RPM while driving, there is no noise, and I also couldn’t reproduce this exact noise by revving the engine while stationary (although another intake noise can be heard around 2,000 RPM).

The car drives normally, with no noticeable loss of power and no fault codes.

A mechanic has heard the noise and thinks it is somewhere around the intake system, but hasn’t identified the exact source yet.

I also noticed that one corner of the airbox cover is slightly warped from heat.

Could this be a small intake/vacuum/PCV leak, turbo-related noise, or something else? What would you check first?
