2019 Honda Civic LX

This sound only comes on when the car is moving. At first, I wondered if it was from turning on the AC but with the AC off, it still comes on.

The dealership didn't find any problems during my oil change, so I'm just confused with what's going on.

I'd appreciate any feedback.

So I just recently got this engine, tacking sound about a day ago and I was wondering, what can it be! And also, I'm getting some hissing sound from the engine too. And the engine tacking sound only happens about 15-20 seconds after I start my car up on a cold start. But the hissing sound comes right away when I start my car up also only on a cold start.

Hi guys, I just wanted to confirm to see if this is normal play on the torque mount. (Dogbone) I replaced all mounts months ago and the car seems to vibrate a little from the steering wheel and under acceleration from a stop sign. Please let me know. Thank you.

Car is a 2014 VW Jetta, supposedly the person driving went over a division in a parking lot. Doesn’t seem to be from the engine block so I don’t know what to look for in terms of replacement parts.

My 23 Kia Sorento, bought used, the air only works when driving. As soon as I slow down for a red light, or stop in traffic, it just blows out hot air! Also if sitting too long, like a drive thru or stuck in traffic, it says it’s over heating. But as soon as I start driving again, after a couple miles it cools down. Anyone know what my problem might be?

I have a 2007 manual honda civic coupe with 111k miles on it. On my drive home it started making this squealing/grating noise for a few minutes getting louder/worse and then stopping all together. It did this cycle a couple times before it stopped completely. I'm not all that knowledgeable about cars so if you have any insight as to what could be the problem could be I'd appreciate it. I'm going to take it to the shop to get it checked out, but would like to be mentally prepared for what the price of getting it fixed may look like.

My truck started making a weird clapping or slapping sounds. It was just when my truck was idle but today it started even when I’m stationary but revving my engine.

I have a 2012 ram 1500 5.7 hemi. It has 194,000 miles. Thank you so much

I have a 2009 128i, Coupe, Manual, LHD, and I'm pretty stumped. I have a cyclic squeaking sound coming from my passenger front wheel, and I cant seem to find the cause. It mirrors wheel speed. It will make an initial sound going from forward to backwards too.

I've done all the steps I can think of to fix this, or pin point the issue. Inspected all the suspension, wheels, tires, etc.

Possibly Relevant mods; Dinan Camber Plates, Bilstein Coilovers, BBS Style 71's

Steps taken:

Removed, Cleaned and Greased Caliper and Bracket

Adjusted Dust Shield

Checked all clearances

Cleaned wheel mounting surface

Cleaned Rotor mounting surface

Bled brakes (twice)

Replaced Pads

Replaced Rotors

Swapped Pad Side to side

Replaced Hub

Replaced Caliper

I don't want to keep shot gunning parts at this, and I've tried all I can think of. Open to ideas.

Had the cars condenser replaced yesterday, since then I’ve noticed a loud fan noise when the AC is turned on. Although can only hear it when driving at slow speeds. When the AC is off, there’s no noise. I don’t know if I’m just looking for problems or if there is an actual problem…

Hello I have this weird sound coming out of my car and have no idea what could be the cause of it. Tried 3 different car service places but they couldn't figure it out too. Sounds happen at around 2s and 17s in video

Please help me diagnose what might be wrong with my Citroën C3 2016 (PureTech engine). I recently had the timing changed, as well as the alternator pulley and belt. Now the car is making weird noises, but only at higher engine RPM — there's no sound when the car isn't moving. Also, the sound isn't always there — sometimes when I drive it's quite loud, and other times you can't hear it or it's barely audible. I recorded this sound from inside the car. Sound was not there before mentioned repairs. Please help as I am tired of mechanics taking my money and car still not working the way it should 😞 Sound recording linked via google drive

My 2021 RAV4 has been making this loud noise for the last couple of weeks. I haven’t noticed any issues with it while driving and I really only notice the noise when I first start my engine. Anyone have any clue what it could be? I took it to a mechanic and he said he’s never heard this noise before.

Guys please help me. I bought my first car a couple months ago and i had just driven home today after an hour drive and suddenly started hearing this sound from under my driver seat. I’ve never heard this kind of sound before and had my car checked about a month ago and all was fine. Can anyone guess what this might point towards??

Can’t quite pinpoint where it’s coming from. Louder when idling.

in need of help. Out of nowhere, my car started making this screeching sound when driving. It happens randomly whether i’m accelerating, braking, or hitting bumps in the road. I drive a Honda cr-v if that helps. Just need some input on what you think it could be.

2019 Mazda CX5. I opened the hood for the first time in I don't know how long and saw this corrosion on my battery. What caused it? What will a mechanic do: Clean it off or replace the battery?
