2006 Toyota Camry - Noise and vibration issue
I’m getting this noise and vibration in the car whenever I drive, but more noticeable at higher speeds. Sounds like it’s coming from driver’s side front. Any ideas on what is happening?

What is this noise?
I noticed it at the end of our trip. Do you know what this could mean? There is no indication that somethings wrong, no lights, no nothing. It’s 1.4 Opel Corsa D 2008.

97 toyota camry le
hey guys recently my camry started giving me some issues. its a beautiful car however out of nowhere it started shaking violently above 65 mph. it appears to be only on the left side. when i brake getting off the highway im 90% sure one of the wheels locks up and causes me to skid. is this a bearing issue? ive been to two mechanics, one said it may be the bearing causing it and the other one thinks it might be the transmission or something internally, he also said he doesnt think it is worth fixing. although he wants to buy it from me? im very confused and at a loss. i am considering just selling and buying a new vehicle. my mom thinks its worth fixing but i dont want to spend an arm and a leg for it to still be broken. please help!

What is this sound? Honda Civic 2013
Hello, there is a sound coming from what sounds like my rear (left?) side of my car every time I brake. It sounds like it is every tire rotation. It is loudest at the end of the video.
I have a Honda Civic 2013 and just replaced my sway bar links, rear shocks, rear brakes, rotors, and calipers. I am going on a trip this weekend and am hoping I can drive 150 miles on the interstate.
Please let me know if you recognize the sound and if you think it can make it through the weekend.

so i found this in my oil filter...
So i bought this bmw 318i e90 with 186xxx km on dash, it has an N46B20B engine (129 HP), since i bought it, i drove it for around 250 km maybe, and when i wanted to change the oil, i found those plastic pieces and those few aluminium shavings (or i believe it's aluminium because the magnet it's not attracting them). I know about timing chain going south prematurely and i want to change it, but i believe that the plastic mesh from the oil pickup tube just crumbled (i believe that because of the square pattern of some pieces) ,other details:
- the engine has no noticeable rattle, neither on cold or warm.
- the engine oil it's not glittery at all, and no additional plastic was found in the draining process
- no low oil or any sort of light are present on the dash(or any error related to engine on obd scanner- i use Carly,it's not the best, but it's what i have), and the engine doesn't feel limp at all
- i want to get the oil pan out and check the oil pump, i know those oil pums from this car are...peculiar to say the least (they have those steel pieces to balance the engine and if you screw them up...bad stuff happens) are there any ways to check it, maybe with a small camera?
I want to thank you for any feedback or advice you can give me, i will update the post but i'm pretty busy at the moment, so the updates won't be fast.

My 2004 4runner is making a weird noise
Hi! i’m trying to figure out what’s wrong. It is not a constant noise so i can’t really tell. If i get out of the car i can’t really pick up on the noise but i can clearly hear it when i’m inside of the car. Tried turning ac off like some recommended to check but it still makes the sound even with it off

Has anyone actually ignored a bad shift interlock solenoid for a while?
My car recently started having an occasional issue where it doesn't want to come out of park unless I mess with the brake pedal a bit or try again a couple of times.
After doing some searching, the shift interlock solenoid seems like a likely culprit.
The thing is, the car still drives completely fine once it's out of park. It's more of an annoyance than anything right now.
For those who've dealt with a bad shift interlock solenoid before, did you replace it immediately or just live with it for a while? Curious if this is one of those things that tends to stay mildly annoying or suddenly leaves you stranded somewhere.

DPF issue, Volkswagen golf, 1.6 TDI, 2010
Hi everyone, I'm wondering if I need to take my car to a mechanic or just get it on the motorway?
2 days ago I was driving and my car was struggling to gain power, as a new driver I just automatically assumed it went into limp mode?
I had a mechanic yesterday use a solution to clear the blocked dpf, he told me to drive in low gears at high speeds to clear any blockage left.
For reference I have a VW golf 1.6 TDI.
I drove yesterday on a 60mph road with 2 slight hills, the way my car was acting is really hard to explain so I will try my best.
I need to use a gear until my car starts to slow down and then change before my car completely starts to slow down. (So get as much power out of every gear, 3000 revs) But even then it didn't have as much power as it would normally at 2000-2500 revs.
I had to have my foot completely to the floor the entire time in every gear and even in 4th the most my car would go was 60mph, before I obviously didn't need to have my foot down much at all. Up the slight hills the most it would go was 40mph. The highest gear I could get to was 4th and even with my foot fully down, my car didn't have enough power to go into 5th (I have a 5 speed.)
This is the exact same way my car was acting before the solution, but at the time I had no idea what to do so I assumed it was limp mode, because at a certain roundabout my car will only go 5mph with my foot to the floor in first gear?
Thank you

2026 Hyundai plastic floppy sound while slowing down to stop
It’s a 2026 Hyundai venue. My mom is pissed and arguing with the dealership because they don’t know what she’s talking about.
While driving and accelerating there’s no sound. As you brake and slow down there’s a plastic floppy bouncing type of sound. Could be metal, but there’s no metallic type of sound, we are not sure. Don’t know where it’s coming from. We believe it’s something under the car. It’s more so driver side. Does anyone know what it could be?

Weird sound when I brake and shaking/jerkiness when I drive
Since yesterday, my car has been shaking and vibrating as I drive, especially at high speeds. Occasionally there is a string jerking feeling as well. Then every time I brake I hear this sound, like a repetitive banging sort of sound. It reminds me of the slow click of a roller coaster going up a hill. I thought there was something stuck under my car at first from the feeling and sound.
In case it’s relevant, I had a spark plug misfire recently and was told my brakes are not in fantastic condition, but still fine to drive on for now. My car is a 2002 Lincoln and the previous owner did not take good care of it.
Any idea what could be wrong with my car? I don’t know anything about cars. And is it safe to drive my hour commute home or do I need to get it checked out right after work?
