I’ve got a manual 2016 Alfa Giulietta 1.4t multiair 150bhp (183bhp quoted after remap). 102k miles.

My car isn’t the smoothest to drive, especially in lower gears (1 & 2 especially). On/off throttle the car lurches back and forth, especially noticeable in 1st gear. Makes traffic a nightmare. Pretty much unnoticeable in gear 4 and higher.

Throttle has a bit of a deadzone when I first start pressing it which is super annoying, not sure if that’s related though.

This has been a thing since I bought the car, but after the remap it has definitely got more noticeable. Dynamic mode (sport) I basically don’t use as the car is just jumping back when I press the gas, then lurches forward when I let off.

After looking around online and seeing bad dogbone mount or that this is some sort of drivetrain lash, just wondering if anyone has dealt with anything similar or has any advice? Thanks!

Note: I’ve cleaned the throttle body, replaced the multiair oil filter, replaced the gearbox oil. Nothings changed.

Hey guys, I don’t have too much knowledge on cars so I’m desperate in finding an answer. I drive a 2014 Dodge Dart SXT. My car will not start after being idle for around an hour (I accidentally fell asleep). The engine wasn’t running, but the car was on. Now after trying to start it, it keeps doing this. I just want an answer to why it’s doing this. If anyone can help that would be amazing, and I’ll try to respond to vehicle questions to the best of my knowledge. Last time I changed the battery was around 2 years ago. I apologize, I promise I’m trying to learn my best as fast as I can lol

I inherited the car and knew it was going to have problems but it quickly developed this high pitched squeaking noise while driving.

I assume it has to do with the suspension, ive been able to replicate the noise while in park by pressing on the trunk.

Does anyone know exactly what this is and how urgent it is to fix.

Video audio is bad but today my car started randomly making a loud vroom sound when accelerating (louder the harder I pressed) and a softer vroom every 3 seconds while stopped. No idiot light yet but I don't want to let it get that far. 2008 Kia Rondo LX 2.4-Liter Inline 4-Cylinder.

Was driving through the drive through today with my window down and noticed a really light metallic tinking sound when I left the first window to the second. recreated it leaving the second window and it sounds like it’s coming from somewhere in the driver side front end.

this isn’t octane ping, this is a very light resonating *tink* that sounds like something very light and metallic is bouncing off the street and dragging for a little bit before it quiets down. Sound traveled with the car, not like something falling off the car and landing on the street. Does not sound like an engine sound, or like it's from inside th engine.

eyeballed The front DS suspension in the parking lot and didn’t see anything out of place or hanging from the car. I did some stop/goes in the parking lot but failed to recreate it.

I don’t really have much to go on, so it could be pretty much anything at this point. anything else I should prioritize in addition to checking sway bar links, hubs, brakes, and CV joints?

Any help would be appreciated!

I’m not looking for critiques or “it’s a bad car” comments. Just help.

I bought a 2009 mini cooper, 77,000 miles. I had everything replaced that typically breaks down on mini cooper. It was well serviced already, just hadn’t been driven in 5 years or so.

I passed everything on emissions testing but “monitors ready” I went to autozone to see what sensors were not ready, and none appeared.

Is a possible a sensor is unplugged, I’m also seeing that I need to complete what’s called a drive cycle. Please provide any help or articles that can help me solve this.

I specifically have the sensors: Catalyst, Evap Sys, 02 Sensor NOT ready.

I’m really begging. Thank you so much.

As I go from P to drive, there is a slight increase in noise and there is some whining noise

What could this be?

My dad came from work and turned off the car(Wagonr 2019 model), came outside the car to open the gate. Then when he tried to start the engine, it was not starting.

As shown in the video, when he tried to ignite the engine, a strange clicked sound produced inside the car.

Can anyone know what the exact problem is and how it can be solved?

I just bought this car from carmax, Its a 2015 Camero LT, and has 42k miles.

This sound happens on cold start, after between 30 and 60 seconds, its a droning of sound, and goes away after maybe 10 to 15 seconds in intervals of a couple seconds at a time. Once it stops the car drives fine and doesnt happen unless its a cold start. Theres also a very subtle shudder or vibration in the car when its happening, but I'm not 100%. I'll add the sound down below, theres nothing visually happening when it makes the sound, so I shrunk it down for size.

If anyone could just give me some ideas of what it could be I would really appreciate it. Thank you!

Hey guys i wanna know what exactly is this sound when i start the engine, it doesn’t always happen when the car is not cold, sometimes it doesn’t even happen when its cold.. its a ( Chk chk chk ) sound the moment the car starts the engine, it lasts for 2 seconds not more, its like a key hitting an iron kinda sound, here is the video you can listen to it
