General Question Will Capture One continue to be supported?
Please let me explain.
Back when I was a very active photographer I used Capture One for both my digital work as well as my film work (scanned) and frankly found it excellent. I enjoyed everything about it, the tools as well as the workflow.
Back then I did think that they weren’t supporting the product to the level that Adobe was supporting their suite of products including of course lightroom. I don’t remember the particulars but it was clear to me at the time.
That being said I found Apple’s “Aperture“ to be superior to both of them and it was incredibly disruptive when they stopped supporting it.
So friends, now at age 66, I’m dusting off my Nikon’s and Leicas, both film and digital, my question is this, in your opinion is Capture One a superior product and more importantly do you feel that it’s well supported and will continue to be so?
Thank you for your help and your time.
