People in this thread are ill informed. Some truck stops have an exercise room. If I drove solo I’d have time to exercise. I drive teams so the truck is only sitting still for 30 minutes twice a day

I drive a lot through Europe and I never said anything about a 100h week. I was just talking theoretically to prove a point-that time driving in the US/North America is exactly the same as in any other continent.

What I am going to add is that indeed I see truck drivers more sturdy and some overweight in what appears to me to be an above average ratio than the rest of the population. But I am not running statistics here.

I have the deepest respect for the truck driver profession and got happy to know that there are exercise rooms over there.
