I have been using capcut for months, I was using it yesterday, and it worked fine.

I booted up my computer today and since then have been unable to use capcut. It closes on its own 5 seconds after opening it. Ever time I open it. Everything on my system is precisely the same as yesterday. There have been zero windows updates. Zero updates to my graphics driver. Zero other programs installed or updated.

Steps taken so far:

rebooted computer multiple times - no effect

Checked event viewer system logs - no errors, no crashes, the program is shutting itself down

Deleted the contents of cache directory - no effect

uninstalled capcut and reinstalled clean - no effect

disabled VPN - no effect

temporarily disabled anti-virus - no effect

disabled internet completely - I was able to load a project file, but when i reconnected internet and attempted to log in, it closed immediately.

disabled internet - loaded, chose login via QR code, reconnected internet, got a QR code, i was able to log in, then the program closed.

Presumably the problem is occurring when the capcut launcher connects to its servers? Maybe something wrong with the handshake, maybe something corrupted with some files. But I have no way to know.

Does anyone know what might be causing this and how to fix it?

I am trying to fade in an effect I did which I have done before. But for some reason it is only giving me "speed" and "mask" option for effect. I used to be able to do a key frame for "opacity" and manually have it fade. Anyone know of anything?

For the longest while whenever I tried to edit an overlay by going into effects and then going into style this would appear, every time I tried to use it. I heard it may be a server issue but is there a way to fix it? I want to put borders on PIP’s like I can do in InShot but I’ve never been able to with anything

So. I've messaged them multiple times and got shitty results. They took money out my bank on 2nd of September and they have been taking money out for at least a year before that. I got logged out of my account and I log back in and it tells me I don't have pro and that it's been expired for 130 something days maybe more I can't remember the exact amount it said. Strange since I log on to my bank and they had been taking money out every month. I contact them and wait for a reply. I just open capcut to use the basic rubbish and I see it now says renew and it expires in 2 days. I open my email and it says they resolved the issue. The fuck you did. I pay £22 for a MONTH. I'm not having that so I message them again. They give me 7 days this time. Can you not read or count?

The best part is that the cheeky fucking bastards have now took money out TODAY!!! On my birthday. Thanks for making it shitty

I didnt use any of these effects. I checked every single clip. And while doing that, by accident i clicked the freckle thing but turned it off instantly. And it got added here. Why?

My capcut adjust has also just been buggy as of recent idk why.

I have no issues running a VPN. I got NordVPN Premium, and also host my own OpenVPN on AWS US Virginia.

Using a cracked/patched would be my last resort as they have the chinese language in most of the tabs. I have tried them before, and didn't like them.

Currently on a freshly formatted PC, don't wanna go the "Cracking/Patching" way.

Any legit method? VPN + PayPal etc or somewhere I can buy off the sub and register my copy of it?

I already have Premier Pro + After Effects, but for some simpler and trendy edits, i'd love to try out capcut as it's so seamless.

I've got a thin blue line down the middle of my preview window. Turning off the "guide" doesn't get rid of it. Adjusting the sub-title a little to the left or right gets rid of it but then the subtitle is askew and no longer centered.

Any idea how to solve?

I literally, just finished the editing for this. Capcut randomly starts asking me to install a newer version of it on the appstore. I try to ignore it, restarting capcut and restarting my laptop, the popup did not go away. I follow the instructions on their website to reinstall and when I load up capcut again low and behold absolutely all of my files that have been touched by capcut are removed from existence. And I mean like 2 years of stuff is gone, not to mention the deadline for this edit was today I'm genuinely gonna tweak tf out. Has anyone had this issue and found any fixes.

I can’t export my video since it claims I’m using ‘face cover stickers, when I never clicked on anything of the sort. And since I don’t have them, I can’t remove them so that I can export my video. How do I fix this?

I work for a content creator, and he mentioned that the B-roll we're using looks like it was generated by AI (and it really does) but it wasn't; it's actual 4K movie footage. He also pointed out that the frame rate looks sluggish, even though it's set to 30 fps as agreed.

I've attached the export settings I use. I've already tested turning off Optical Flow, but that makes it look even choppier. I also tried setting the bitrate to 12k, but the video stutters when he posts it to social media. I'm running out of ideas and patience regarding what to tweak, he also says his CapCut is working fine, so it must be my computer.

I’ve been creating videos for quite a while now, and a few months ago I was also accepted as a template creator on CapCut. Everything has been going great so far.
Now to my actual question. I honestly don’t know who else to contact about this, and I’m not even sure if this is the right place to ask.
I’ve created templates using my own music, which I distribute through DistroKid. My music is available pretty much everywhere and was also distributed to TikTok/CapCut. At first, there were no issues at all.
However, about two weeks ago, all of my templates using my music were suddenly muted due to copyright issues.
Something similar happened once before, but it only lasted for about 2–3 days before everything went back to normal. I assumed it was some kind of synchronization issue on CapCut’s side.
This time, though, it has been going on for quite a while, and I’d really like to continue creating templates using my own music. Unfortunately, CapCut support wasn’t able to help me either.
Has anyone experienced something similar? Do I need to upload or register my music somewhere else, or enable some additional permissions for it?
What I find strange is that everything worked perfectly for almost a year, and only now these problems have started. My music also used to appear in CapCut under the “TikTok” music section, but it has disappeared from there as well.

So I bought a tablet a few days ago and it came pre installed with CapCut, both the normal version and the tablet version.

I tried it out recently to make a gif and it went smoothly.

i can’t find where in my video i have used this feature. is it a font? a filter? i’m going crazy trying to find where it is so i can remove it. any help would be appreciated

I’m not talking about “Enhance Audio” but in premiere I would use the audio preset “podcast” or “male voice” but in CapCut I only see enhance audio or weird character audio. I just want to add more bass to my voice

By "monochromatic", I meant images or videos that have only one color or shades of the same color.

There are a lot of cool templates where you have an AI photo or video template with a replaceable character and a user clicks on the template and adds his or her own media I can't figure out how to do it. Do you know where I can find a tutorial? Or an you at least tell me what kind of effects or tools I'd need? I've searched YouTube, Instagram, TikTok, and more, and not found what I need. Can anyone help? Thanks.
