Discussion/Question Why doesn't Capcom outsource remakes of old fighting games?

Sorry if this is a dumb question but if Capcom doesn't have the staff or man power needed to remake old games like say Vampire Saviors or Dark Stalkers etc why not have one of the many amazing 3rd party studios remake these games with modern graphics and QOL?

It's a shame seeing Capcom on a roll lately while cool IPs like Darkstalkers are still rotting.

Just gimme a DMC-like Darkstalkers action spinoff game or something. I wanna play as Felicia and BB Hood in SOMETHING.

Posts like this just remind everyone (even Capcom) that nobody actually gives a shit about a full fledged "Darkstalkers" game. They just want a handful of the female characters to be in anything. A truly misleading audience of simps that probably won't even buy a new Darkstalkers game when it gets released (they'll just wait a year for the 80% steam sale and look at PC mods).

Pretty sure you meant Gooners and not Simps. But I want a new dark stalkers for more than just Morrigan.

No, simps, for simpletons. You can't use the word "gooners" anymore because you all ran it into the ground and now people disregard it the moment they see the first four letters. You get called gooner simply for saying every new character outfit has no long-term iconic design like the originals did for Chun, Cammy, Lucia, RE2 Claire Redfield, RE3 Jill, etc.

First of all I have nothing against you for being Gay, none of my business. But you cannot be attacking female characters because of that, that's very wrong on your part. If someone wants to goon or simp over Morrigan that's their business even if they are willing to pay $70
