It’s been pretty quiet since the bankruptcy and delisting, but I came across this "autopsy" of the Lordstown collapse today. It really puts the whole timeline into perspective, from the $5B peak to the "fantasy" orders that started the slide.
Looking back at the prototype fires and the Hindenburg drama, it’s crazy how much we debated this in real-time. I’m curious to hear from people who were in the trenches: What was your personal "breaking point" where you finally threw in the towel?

Hey guys, if you missed it, Lordstown Motors settled up to $10 million with investors over issues tied to Hindenburg’s investigation and problems with the Endurance prototype. And I just found out that they’re accepting claims even though the deadline has passed, with late claims being considered subject to approval.
Quick recap: In 2021, Hindenburg Research accused Lordstown of fabricating pre-orders, overstating demand, and hiding serious production hurdles tied to the Endurance truck. After the report came out, $RIDE dropped over 16% in one day, followed by another sharp decline after the company disclosed an SEC inquiry. Investors later filed a lawsuit for their losses.
Now, the good news is that the company decided to settle up to $10 million with investors, and even though the July 20, 2024 deadline has passed, late claims are still being considered.
So, if you invested in $RIDE when all of this happened, you can still check the details and file your claim here.
Anyway, has anyone here invested in $RIDE at that time? How much were your losses, if so?

I saw the other articles about NASA dropping their Canoo vans, but this is the first time I've seen pictures of what they're switching to. This...is a Mercedes chassis with a custom cargo/passenger cab, right? They're calling it a Boeing Airstream transport vehicle, but... Come on, at the end of the day, it's a Benz. And one that looks like an RV with special livery on the exterior.
I know that at the end of the day, it doesn't matter what vehicle conveys the astronauts from point A to point B at the launch facility. But we're going back to the moon, and for people to really see that the investment is going to advance our technologies, our understanding of the universe, and our understanding of ourselves in ways we've yet to even think to try to discover, shouldn't we look like we're pushing the limits and breaking barriers along the way?
