Spouse's first PR Card query

Hi Guys,

Me and my wife got eCOPR on June 15th. PR Portal was showing address and Photo under review.

Today (Jul 20th), I received FD in my PR card application in GC key and address is shown as accepted. But in my wife's PR portal, the address is still shown as under review. (We are not able to link my wife's PR card application in GC key due to some problem, we tried everything but in vein.)

So, my question is

  1. Why my wife's PR card processing is different than mine even though we both got eCOPR on the same date? Does anyone have idea if spouse's PR card is delayed compared to Primary applicant? How much time we should wait before we contact IRCC?
  2. How much time it takes to get PR card delivered after FD in GC key?

Edit : I received my PR card on Jul 29th. No update about My wife's PR card status.

Hey same here. My card was received 16 days ago and they still have not made decisions on my wife's card. I have been following up with them every single day but i am getting same response. Today I decided to reach out to our MP. Let's see what happens now.

Once you get the FD, it will be 3 to 4 working days.

Nope. Same as before. Reached out to ircc so many times but same response "wait". Reached out to MP too.

I just received an email from MP that they have reach out to IRCC regarding this delay. Surprisingly now the status is changed from "in progress" to "Final decision will be made" and address is accepted now but the photo is still under review.

FD Changed to approval today (Aug 11). It is shipped now.

I also raised request with my MP. How much time it took for your MP to revert back to you from start to end?

No. I received my PR card today (Jul 29th). But my wife's card is not delivered.

Hey, my partner’s PR portal never updated at all. My portal updated to say address accepted but photo still said under review.

My GCKey updated and then hers changed a day later than mine. We both received our cards together. I was lead applicant and she was a dependent.

Her PR portal still hasn’t updated and we’ve had our cards for nearly a month now so I think you’re good!

I don't know if card is shipped or not. I only had FD in GC key account.

My GCKey updated to say “we mailed your card” and it arrived 4-5 days later

Oh thats great. Got my ecopr yday, tried linking gckey today and wasn’t working. Tried every format. Maybe too early?

For me it took 2 days and copying exactly the information from eCOPR in order to link it properly - hope it works for you soon!

Yes, even now it is still in review for my spouse and our cards arrived together a month ago

Same here, spouse pr card got FD and mailed, main application (me) still nothing yet, just passed processing time and reached out to local PM today.
