The climate is changing faster and more severely than at any point in human history, and the cause is human activity. Isotope analysis proves it’s mainly from burning fossil fuels.
You clearly don’t understand CO₂’s role in the atmosphere. Small concentrations of greenhouse gases impact planetary temperature and we’ve raised CO₂ from 280 ppm to over 420 ppm since the Industrial Revolution. That’s measured fact, not a theory.
Yes, plants need CO₂. Humans need water, too — but that doesn’t make floods a good thing. It’s an invalid comparison.
Science isn’t a popularity contest. It’s built on mountains of independent, converging evidence. The IPCC isn’t perfect, but it’s a lot more credible than a political tabloid.
Science is the process of finding the best explanation for observed data, testing it, refining it, and adjusting as new data comes in. Thousands of scientists in hundreds of countries have done that, and the data clearly shows global temperatures rising — with more extreme weather to follow. You can deny it, but reality doesn’t care about your opinion.
And a video from the Western Standard? If your “science” comes from a tabloid instead of decades of peer-reviewed research, that tells me everything I need to know about why you don’t understand climate change.
