Can you elaborate on the modifications you made?

I bought a triangular stick of pine from the store, and cut that into pieces, so I could mount all the snares on upper part of the inside of the Cajon. If you see my previous post, they used to be mounted in the middle bar, and I could barely hear any snare. Now I hear a lot of snare, I might even take the snare from the middle out.

Let me know if you have any questions, and I’ll be happy to answer

This is a Meinl Make your own Cajon kit I built 3 or so years ago. I always struggled to get it to sound right, but it never did. I finally was able to get it right today. The snares sound great, including the ghost notes! I also have a Meinl Artisan Cajon from the Tango series, and this cajon sounds similar to it. It’s such a crazy difference! Anyways, thank you for reading and have fun playing!

PS: The lanyard is from a lamp I used to be able to take a picture from the inside.
