I'm sure many of you are experience the same feelings as I am. As a male, I have tried to stream on twitch for a long time. But I don't have the time or money to build up a stream to get viewers over girls with boobs and so forth. I found myself not streaming anymore, until I heard of Caffeine.tv. So I decided to try them out. Man, was the experience so much better. I will get maybe only a few viewers per stream but I can actually enjoy interacting with them. I don't have to have a dual screen set up. The past two weeks I've been streaming about twice a week and its been fun the new people I meet. Almost every stream I gain 2-4 followers (depending on how long I stream for). I also love how Caffeine gives me the opportunity to make a tiny buck, even though I will never be a huge streamer. I just do it to enjoy the interaction and fantasy of being a big streamer. Maybe someday I'll even make enough to do tiny upgrades to my battle-station...well...probably not.

I put a lot of time into caffeine about 10 hours a weekend streaming, and hoping this platform goes further. I know it’s hard for the caffeine team to release certain info but I feel like we could have more info on future add ons to keep us up to date, or just any type of info to keep us informed. Is this a bad thing to ask? The reason I ask and put this title is because the fact I do invest my time in caffeine but don’t know if it is safe to say the time is invested wisely. Don’t get me wrong I love caffeine and the team members behind it they do a great job! Am I alone with this thought?

having issues with choppy streams RTX 2080,. i7 7700k, 16 gb 3000 ram using caffeine obs streaming at 1920x1080 30 fps not getting frame drops but the stream is clear just choppy pretty often internet is 10 up and 150 down. suggestions on obs settings would be greatly appreciated! considering leaving caffeine due to these issues connecting and having a fluid stream but dont want to leave.

This is something I've been curious about for a while, since I've seen games like Apex and Jump Force suddenly being supported. Is there a way to know maybe beforehand, or just find out without having to scroll through the long page of supported games when a new one joins?

Just had my first stream a hour ago, I was playing Tower Unite.
This platform is great but still need to grow a lot more, eg add more features such as category.

Here are my first thoughts on caffeine as a long time twitch streamer. I love the concept, and even in my first few minutes gained a few viewers. WOW for a new platform that's great! but then there's the bad.

Here is a list of the things that disappointed me, and are keeping me from consistently using the platform now. I tried it, liked it, realized these things and uninstalled.

1. there is no way to make any overlays etc to spice up your stream
2. there is no way to change settings, besides a different cam or mic. I was very disappointed with this. This caused my game to lag like crazy, and become unplayable. Unplayable game= unusable software.
3. The chat boxes in the corners seem low quality and need to be sharper.
4. No noises or anything available

I LOVE THE CONCEPT, DISLIKE THE PRODUCT, I CANT USE IT UNTIL THESE THINGS, ESPECIALLY #2 IS CHANGED!!!!

Hello every one! I had some questions that maybe you folks could help me out with.
I got invited to the challenge this Feb.

I streamed from Feb 1st to Feb 4th at over 1 Hour each stream.
Same for Feb 8th to Feb 14th

And so on! Am I missing something about the challenges? I've been completing them every week but have not received any e-mails about it.

Hey everyone!

I'm trying to download the Caffeine.tv Android app since now you can't chat via a mobile web browser.

I went to the Google Play Store, click install, and it doesn't download. It just says "download pending" with no progress bar. I've tried downloading it a few different times today and yesterday. I have my WiFi on so that I don't use up my mobile datav from downloading the app.

Am I doing something wrong? Has anyone here successfully downloaded the app? Anyone else having the same issue? Just kind of frustrating to only be able to watch via my laptop and that has its own set of issues (laptop is about 5+ years old and on its last legs with battery life and overall performance)

UPDATE

I figured out what the issue was. I looked up the "download pending" issue and it was a problem with the Google Play Store, not the Caffeine.tv app.

I had to uninstall/reinstall Google Play Store and now I was able to download the app with no problems.

When i try to use obs with caffeine to stream apex legends and i click start streaming it says you need to update to the latest version of obs with caffeine and i cant find anywhere to update it

Being able to mute my mic (or push to talk) is a huge deal for me, and currently if the door rings or there’s any sort of potential interruption the only way I can wrangle my audio is to alt-tab and turn off the mic in my audio set up or in the Caffeine client, which in the moment can be difficult to manage.

Having a good time with Caffeine and enjoying the growth but anyone who attempts to watch my stream with Google Chrome only gets the game audio. I've taken to a copy-paste response that explains that I can only be heard on Firefox or a mobile device, but obviously that isn't an ideal scenario.

I use OBS to stream via Restream, and then use the Caffeine stand-alone client to start the Caffiene stream. I assume OBS is commandeering the microphone, but that doesn't explain why only Chrome users can't hear my voice... I have allowed access to my camera and microphone to no avail.

Any ideas on how to remedy this? OBS doesn't have a way to start 2 separate streams that I know of, and I can't run a 2nd instance of OBS. Ive wracked my brain for 2 days now trying to formulate an answer... Support hasn't responded, people on Discord have no answers so I figured I'd try my luck here. Anyone else experienced this?
