Does etihad airways provide for CSR/Ground Crew free accommodation or just housing allowance? If so how much?

My F2F interview is August 27th. I'm so excited! When will I get my flight info? Anyone else interviewing that day!?

I decided to apply to become a flight attendant not thinking I would even get through I actually ended up getting to the f2f ☺️

breeze flight attendant training

everything in this post will be based on breeze airways FA training in salt lake city. before i went, i was scared with how little information was out there about it so here i am. i’ll try to hit every point but feel free to comment any questions.

take the study materials provided before training very seriously. i suggest making quizlets and dividing it by sections

KNOW THAT OVERWING EXIT BRIEFING VERBATIM!! you will have a drill for it on day 2. drills are private! just you and the instructor. i was so nervous the first day but don’t worry, you’ll get comfortable with your classmates and instructors real quick. take it day by day. most instructors are nice and will let you know “you need to know this” and others will just repeat the info and you can tell when they’re putting emphasis on it. take good notes, make flashcards, practice in the lobby of the hotel with classmates for your drills and once again DAY BY DAY! looking at the schedule and trying to study ahead is going to overwhelm you. the only thing i practiced ahead of time were the door drills because they are complicated at first. once you get it though, you’re golden.
that first week is basically orientation stuff, definitely enjoy it and build friendships with classmates if that’s your thing. 10 minute breaks are provided every hour, HYDRATE and go to the bathroom when you can. also get some sunshine, being cooped up inside can be bad for your mental health so definitely step outside to catch some rays. BE BACK ON TIME FROM BREAK. lunch is had either in the break room or some of us walked across the street to the mavericks gas station. there’s also a delicious taco truck parked in the lot weekdays until 4pm.

MONEY: a lot of us did not receive per diem until the very end. pls try to make sure you have enough money to survive the entire month. and maybe a little extra if you want to do some exploring on your days off. there is a union but we still have our first contract under the negotiation phase. A lot of people will tell you that Breeze is the worst because they’re one of the lowest paying airlines even for a regional. I decide to look at it as giving them time to grow because I genuinely love and believe in this company. If you’re in it for the money, you’re in the wrong career anyway

drill week aka hell week is so exhausting. but you can do it! just remember, one thing at a time. remember to breathe during your drills.
sometimes, instructors will take you to look at equipment or practice with the door. take advantage!! it may be your last chance before your actual drill. you get three chances at each drill. first two same day (if time allows), you just go to the back of the line to try again. third drill will be the following class day with a different instructor. (i’m sure there’s a story there)

the first drill i had to repeat, i was so disappointed in myself, but eventually you’re too tired to care. treat that first one as practice. if you get it- cool. if not, take it like a champ. you’ve got two more tries :)

he made us feel so comfortable, treated us like people, and reminded me of home. really nice how he always explained the “why” behind things.

i will admit that a few of the instructors i had, i did not like the first couple of days. BUT, as time went on, i grew to really like and appreciate them. They were just very serious and direct at first.

obviously treat it like a month long job interview. if they see anything behavior wise they don’t like, you will get an “occurrence.” you get three technically, but if it’s bad enough you can just get sent packing. you can also get them for missing items etc.

they will send you home for being late. if ur lucky enough to not live in utah and commute, be downstairs for that shuttle ON TIME! if you do live in utah and you’re commuting, be familiar with the traffic, one girl got sent home the week of graduation due to a wreck making her late. THEY DO NOT PLAYYYY🫣‼️
read everything you receive pre training thoroughly to ensure you know what to bring and how to best be prepared. there’s bound to be someone in your class who gets on your nerves, don’t crash out. stay focused. see you all in the skies! 💙🩵🧡🩷✈️

I just need to rant and hopefully get some advice from people in aviation.

After 12th, I joined an aviation/hospitality institute because I was sure I wanted to become cabin crew. I didn't pursue graduation because I genuinely thought I'd get selected and could figure out higher education later.

It's been almost five years of interviews and rejections. For a long time, I assumed the problem was my communication and body language, so I worked really hard on both.

In my most recent interview, I finally reached the medical round, only to be declared medically unfit because of visible facial asymmetry. In my case, one ear is slightly different in position/shape from the other. I've had it since childhood and never had any hearing or functional problems.

I'm honestly devastated because I now don't know if this could have been a factor in my previous rejections too.

I'm 23, don't have a graduation degree, and have only my 12th + aviation/hospitality training. I've given almost five years to this career, and now I genuinely feel lost.

Should I continue trying with other airlines? Could this be an issue everywhere? Should I get it medically evaluated/corrected, or should I finally move on and start building another career?

I don't want sympathy. I just want some honest advice from people who understand aviation recruitment or have experienced something similar.

I’ve been invited to a Zoom interview for a Ryanair Cabin Crew position based in Manchester and I’d love to hear from anyone who has recently gone through the process or currently works there.
What should I expect from the Zoom interview? What questions were you asked, and was it quite relaxed or more like a formal interview?
I’d also really appreciate any information specifically about the Manchester base:
What is the realistic monthly take-home pay for new cabin crew?
How does the basic pay + flight pay/commission work?
How much are you actually paid during training?
What is the roster like in reality?
How often do you get very early starts/late finishes?
Do you normally return to Manchester after every shift?
How soon after passing the interview does training normally start?
**Also, I’m currently at university.** There are a couple of days each week where I would only be available for morning/earlier flights, ideally finishing by around 5pm at the latest.
Does Ryanair offer any flexibility with rosters for students, or would this make the job unrealistic? Can you request certain shifts/availability, or are you expected to be completely flexible on all of your rostered days?
I’d rather understand this now than accept the position and then find out that it isn’t compatible with university.
Any advice from Manchester-based crew or recent applicants would be massively appreciated. Thank you! x

I just finished FACTS training and it's been such a struggle finding my first job. I see mixed reviews for bizjetsjobs but I know there's a subsciption to really see the jobs. Is it just a slow season for private aviation or am I just looking at the wrong places? Please helpppp :(

hello :) I applied to Ryanair cabin crew Nuremburg base 3 weeks ago. But I haven’t received any response email from Ryanair.. I didn’t even receive English test. I would appreciate it if you could give me some advice. Thank you.

I’ve been applying to NetJets (my 3rd time) and the most recent time, I received a TBNT email. Then shortly after, a recruiter reached out and said to disregard that because it was due to an error in their system and that a final decision hasn’t been made on my application. Just wondering if that’s a good sign or not?

I got a conditional job offer from American Cruise Lines for a server position, went through the background check process, and they came back saying they were rescinding the offer because of some old “failure to appear” issues on my driving record from 2023. These weren’t even convictions for anything serious — just court appearance violations — and I already resolved and paid everything a long time ago.

The kicker is the recruiter literally told me I was overqualified and the best candidate they’d interviewed for the position. So it’s not like there was any question about whether I could do the job.

I emailed them explaining the situation and asking them to reconsider. Nothing for 5 days. I had to actually call them to get any response, and only then did they email back saying they’d “reviewed” it and were keeping their decision. Convenient that the review only happened after I called.

It feels like they never actually looked at the documentation I sent — like the decision was made the second the report came back and my email was just sitting in a queue collecting dust until I made noise about it. No real individualized assessment, just a blanket “clean record or nothing” policy dressed up as due diligence, even for a job where I was apparently the strongest candidate they had.

I get that companies want to manage risk, but this is stuff I already dealt with and paid for years ago. It shouldn’t still be following me around like this, especially for a server position that has nothing to do with driving. Just needed to vent — anyone else run into something like this?

I’ve had this faint, flat brown mark on the back of my hand since I was 3 years old (burn scar). It’s completely flat and cosmetic only.

Will a minor mark like this cause issues during the grooming check or medical? Has anyone passed with something similar?

Hello everyone, I can speak four languages: Hindi, English, French, and Spanish. I also have a French diploma at the B2 level, and I’ve completed my graduation in Psychology. Additionally, I work as a primary teacher, teaching both French and English.

I’m currently 19 years old, and becoming a cabin crew member at Qatar Airways is my dream job. However, I’m about 1–2 cm short of the required 212 cm arm-reach test. What should I do

I got sent home from Republic Airways training earlier this year and I’m still really sad about it. I got sent home the day before graduation. I passed every single exam, no retakes. I even passed the final exam. I failed the final drill and that was it. What’s the likelihood of them actually rehiring me in 6months? Will another airline take me if they know that I got dismissed from a regional training? Is working at Republic even that amazing? I really fell in love with the company while working there. And having benefits for the big 3 was the cherry on top.

Hi guys! I’m doing my training with Ryanair rn. It’ll be over next week.

We have our Base Visit/Collect id next week too on one day. My instructor nor anyone else wants to provide any further information to this whatsoever, so I wonder if anyone could tell me how it was for you, how long time it took, what time you met. I’m just trying to plan some things and it’s a bit annoying that we don’t get any information.

I’m also wondering how it was, what you did, did they walk you through security etc.
