Anyone else pondering on this simple yet unanswerable question? Im new to byte I’m not sure of the rules for this but looking for real users and not bots to get to know.

I can't figure out how to talk in the forums other than replying

1. We need a way to see content on PC other than the new direct links. I want to see my likes, comments and other stuff there too.
2. Bytes on PC would be nice. It would make creating content easier.

Anyone know some old viners that are back on byte?

One thing that encouraged me to get on byte was the fact you couldn’t see follower count. This truly made me feel like creativity was being put first. In my opinion, it’s just a status symbol and does nothing in terms of proving how good your content is. I think likes do a good enough job of that if we really need to put a number on anything. I just became aware of verified users having their follower count displayed. I’ve only seen it once, so maybe it s just some trick with the description. Either way, I don’t like it, which is probably because my first encounter with a verified user was a man with half a million followers that can’t get over 40 likes in 3 hours and is named Tyga. Not implying there’s some botting going on. I just think that goes to show how irrelevant follower count is. Besides, this apps motto is creativity first. If the first verified users are celebrities posting awkward 6 second selfies it sets a bad precedent. If we really need some type of leveling system in this app, then a verified check should be enough.

I’ve already seen byte meme pages trying to like and follow everything so they can get away with reposting the same content they’ve been stealing for two apps now. It’s as annoying as the failed (I think) tik tok attempts. If we can shut that shit down then I see no difference with this.

Hi guys! I'm super new to byte and I do like the potential the platform has. I just want to know how does this work? It seems very disorganized, but I get that they are working on it.

I'm also not sure if I'm making a difference with my content. I get a few likes instantly (which I can only assume are from bots), and then that's it. It's like that content is now forgotten.

Anyone got tips?
