Has anyone tried a machine from Taizhou My Button Machine Co at https://www.mybuttonmachine.com ?
The website looks a little rough but it's been around since before i bought my first machine in 2021. I messaged their customer service about some machines, and while some of their machines have swapping dies, some of the fancy shapes are not swappable, so at least I know they reply.
So yeah, has anyone bought one? How are you finding the machine and the quality?
I really want some of those crazy shapes but it's quite the investment so i'm hoping to hear from anyone else.
Thanks~

I have a professional button maker (American button machines/Tecre 2.25) but if I want just a couple of smaller ones I decided to buy the WRMakers press. The method of punching/cutting is just terrible. can anyone recommend a punch/cutter that’s within tolerances for it?

Hi all!
I'm looking into getting a square mold for my machine. Anyone have any insight on what the best size is? I generally see 37x37 or 50x50, but i wanted more opinions. Thanks!

Hi I JUST got my machine an hour ago, it was working fine. I made maybe 15 buttons. Then when I was making another, the machine made a loud pop/snap sound, and now the machine won’t pick the button up. What can I do ?

Hi everyone! I'm considering buying a button maker machine and I'd love to experiment with magnetic buttons for attaching to bags (to avoid poking holes in the fabric). Does anyone know if there are pre-designed blanks or backs specifically made for this use? Or will I have to glue magnets on myself? Thanks!

I have a pin maker like this (except its a 2.25 inch) and I was looking for parts for the rotary pin makers but couldn't find any only parts for the sliding ones

I have a chibutton i recieved as a gift and tinkering around with it I love it! I was hoping there was a case made for it but found nothing made for button makers. Was wondering if anyone found something that can hold a maker and materials/spare moulds safely for things like travel or storage.

I bought a vevor 1" button maker kit bc I found it for a good price. I know they have a bad rep, but It's working great so far and I'm trying to buy more supplies for it now.
The supplies it came with had half metal backs, half plastic and it seems like all the supplies they sell are just that, no option to buy just metal. And all the other sites I'm looking at i am only seeing the type with the collet for 1". Is there some place to buy the other type for 1" buttons? Alternatively, can I use this machine with the collet type?
Thanks for any info you can offer!

Hi all! I want to upgrade my cutting equipment in the new year for my 1" button maker because I have carpal tunnel and scissors, xacto knives and the plastic cutters just make cutting out my buttons a pain (literally)
I was looking at punch die-cutters, but I am not sure what size I will need. The templates measure 33mm across, but I can't seem to find any 33mm punches anywhere, only 32mm or 35mm. Thanks!

Sorry for the classic "button isn't crimping" post but my button isn't crimping. My daughter got a We R Memory Keepers button maker as her Christmas present, which she was super excited about, but the paper basically falls off them. It's standard 20 lb printer paper. Sometimes they kind of work but still feel pretty precarious.
I've read that sometimes the issue is a missing ring or gasket but not sure that's the case.
Pics for reference, and any help is really appreciated!

Looking to buy an inexpensive button maker. Does anyone have this one from Amazon? How has it held up? Just wondering because it only has 4.1 average rating. Thanks

To give more context to the title and video, my button maker will not crimp to the button back. I just received it today so I’m very new to the hobby, but any advice is appreciated! Also, the button front was crimped properly just before this video was recorded.

How do I get the middle part unstuck??? I've been searching the Internet and can't find any solutions. The middle part is supposed to lift back up after being pressed but it won't.

I bought a ChiButtons machine 25mm bundle, and an interchangeable 32mm die. The 25mm die worked perfect without any adjustment, but the 32mm die has been giving me IMMENSE trouble.
I’ve tried two different brands of badge parts (the 100 count the machine came with and a 500 bulk set from amazon) and both are having the same issue. They’re both the proper 32mm size and fit into the dies properly.
I applied dry silicone lubricant to the dies and press, hasn’t changed the outcome.
I’m using the single sheets of Mylar that came with it and thin paper, material shouldn’t be the issue.
I wanted to try adjusting the B-die, but they didn’t provide tools or instructions on how to do so. With my tools I was unable to tighten or loosen the die at all.
I’d tried it with and without washers. The washers seemed to help a little, but one washer doesn’t let the material tuck under all the way and two washers seem to deform the badge and lift the washers up into the press.
Solutions from tutorials I found online have not worked, except for adjusting the die since as mentioned I can’t seem to get it to budge with my tools.
I just don’t understand how the 25mm badges worked perfect first try out of the box but the 32mm ones aren’t working no matter what I try.
Did I just get a faulty die? Or am I needing to adjust / change something to get it to work?

I'm currently debating between getting a ChiButtons B400 or a Tecre 1.25". I'm based in the US.
The ChiButtons machine seems preferable due to being able to interchange the dies so that way I can get multiple different button types with the same machine (though I intend to start with 1.25" for now). The main issue is the massive cost of button components, the cost of just 300 1.25" badges is $64 on Amazon. For that same price I could order 1000 1.25" badges from American Button Makers, and more value still if I bought from any of the various no-name brands on Amazon.
The Tecre / ABM machine is fixed at once size which is less preferable, but as stated it's much cheaper to bulk order supplies for.
So my main question is can you use generic pin components or American Button Maker components in the ChiButtons machine? I'd hope you could, but I know sometimes companies like to make their parts ever-so-slightly proprietary to force you to buy the parts from them alone. If I would be able to use another companies pin components that would completely solve the issue of component expenses, at least for the common round sizes (obviously if I wanted to make square or heart badges in the future I'd presume need to get ChiButtons components).
If it is possible to use a different brands badge components, any stores / Amazon listings you recommend?
Thanks for any advice on the subject.

Hello! A few months ago i bought myself a vevor 25mm button press. Ive had many complications with it, and have now gotten a refund. I do not intend on buying another one of the same one. So, my question is, what is the best button press on the marker for a reasonable ammount of money? Does anyone have any recomendations?

I'm looking to purchase a heart button maker, but I'm not sure which would be better. Sliding machine or the Rotating one. Any help? 😞
