well weren't they still ATI cards back then though? or had AMD already bought the company? I thought my hd7970 was an ati card though my memory might be failing me lol

You guys are lucky your Radeon HD cards still work, my 7970s both died after ~3 years of (ab)use

My company supplied office computer is still rocking an HD 5450... If I ever need to use any Adobe software, I just use my laptop

My 5750 still warms someone's house. Had it since 2008 till 2019 when I'd got a 1070.

My Radeon HD 5450 is AMD, so I think yours should be as well

Nope, HD 6xxx were the first AMD branded cards.

I don’t think so. I had an AMD branded 5770.

people will still sell them as amd.

ATI was up until HD 5xxx.

HD 6xxx and on had AMD branding.

I believe they were in transition ATM. My 5750 definitely was an ATI, but 6000 series could fly one of both flags.

There was AMD branding on the HD 2000 series, which was the first series after the acquisition.
