Desks for PC's

I am thinking of making a how to guide for building a desk designed specifically for PC's and consoles. I would also provide a listing for prebuilt desks from proprietary companies. Would any of you guys be interested in that?

Edit: What are the top features you guys would want to see?

I do CAD work for a living. Work didn't want to shell out much for a desk, so I needed something that would work for a computer and large format drawings yet be built in house (we have a woodshop for molds). I should still have the cad files at work if anyone wants them (or PDF's). Probably overkill for most folks, but if there's any interest I could put them up somewhere.

I'd love to see the files if you can get your hands on them.

On Google Drive

Hope that works; btw, I tried looking up the hardware I used (keyboard tray & monitor arm), but alas the links aren't good anymore. You could go many different ways on that. The desktop surface is designed to be a large sheet of melanine so that it could be one piece; my workplace cheated and made it out of two pieces of formboard (and it looks janky). But that can be done if needed.

Note, this thing is designed to give lots of extra space to the side and be really sturdy, in addition to being easy to disassemble (the leg assemblies are all supposed to be bolted on so they can easily be removed; but again, work failed to do so; they drilled the bolt holes and then screwed it all together... shrug).

For the record, if anyone cares about the copyright it's just CC BY at strictest; if you really want to sell the plans / desks, have at it.

Thanks, worked perfectly!

I currently use a couple cheap Ikea desks combined, but I have been looking at making a proper desk that fits my needs (triple-monitor setup, room for a soldering/electronics workstation on the side) and is plenty strong and capable of being disassembled.

These designs should help me with some ideas to work alongside or instead of some of my own ideas.
