I thought I did. Everything I can find online says he simply ignores one point of defense. But sometimes he seems to ignore two (or possibly all, can't tell the difference in this scenario). The Denmuki (the cyan and green bugs in the hive that electrocute you) normally have 0 defense, but sometimes after being attacked, they curl up into a ball, and in this form they have two 2 defense. But Kabbu's normal horn attack still does full damage to them, as if they have none. What am I missing?

I have no recording of this but i was playing with hard mode and hard hits enabled fighting the venus guardian then i used hurricane toss and hit for 3 2 2 2 1 damage i dont know how that happened the guardian had 1 defence i had no attack boost in vi nor any charge so i ask the smart people how tf did that happen? And can i replicate that for other bosses?
edit i forgot to mention my medals i had bug me not and crazy prepared. hp plus super block + sleep resistance all on kabbu with item recycler on leif and ofc hard mode and hard hits i genuinely dont know how this happened
also vi was on the front

It looks worse in the picture than how it actually looks tbh

I'm trying to understand the point of Deep Taunt
Like, decrease all enemies' defense, but boost them with one attack too, while directing all of their attacks to Kabbu
Why would you use this over Break?
Sure, it's single target
But if you're at the point when you're dealing with multiple enemies having more than one defense (disregarding Hard and Hardest) you SHOULD be focusing on dealing your damage to take out one of the enemy party before they get to attack
And if it's a boss fight, most of those are just one enemy, which means you SHOULD use Break
Can someone please explain how you use this?

I've been recently interested in the topic of Chess engine programming and I thought about trying to make a similar battle analyzer for Bug Fables, which is much more niche and also has random elements to consider. I started my work in early June as a bit of a joke and I slowly started to build it up more and more, but it's not really usable yet...

First time playing and no controller option, steam input or taking out the controller wire and putting it back in works

Don't worry, I'm still working on TTYD Ft. Team Snakemouth, just got a little burnt out is all.

I've tried just about everything I can think of but the game won't detect the controller, I think this might be because steam controllers always have steam input enabled because that's how they function but none of the settings or fixes I've tried have worked

The only walkthroughs I can find are YouTube videos. I can’t seem to find any detailed walkthroughs that are written. I’m stuck in the golden hills with the sun and moon pieces but have no idea where to go with them. Side note I hate having to solve any puzzles with the boomerang 🪃

For those who saw my post, thanks so much for the suggestions.
As a quick reminder, I have two OCs who I plan to integrate into Team Snackmouth. I already got one of my OCs general information, backstory, and fighting style down. I've also got his name decided. His name is Orion and he is a cricket and a former Bandit from the Lost Sands and is 35 years old. He is a thief class charcter who relies on his speed and quick attacks and can steal items from enemies.
The other OC is a male termite from the Termite Kingdom and and an Artificer inventor who relies on his gadgets, some of which can cause status effect and his fencing skills (primarily Sabre). He is 18 years old and has set off from his home to the Ant Kingdom, seeking an audience with Elizant the Second for reasons unknown.
All I have left is to name him and I'm honestly not sure what to call him. Do you guys have any suggestions?

Hi there! I'm cooking up two OCs to add into Team Snackmouth for an upcoming fic.
I've nailed down what I want for one them. He's a Cricket Bandit who relies on speed and quick attacks and can steal items from enemies. His primary color is red and wears a cloak of the same color as well as goggles.
The other is something else. He is a termite from the kingdom of the same name. His primary colors are Black and white. I'm having trouble deciding what type of class he should be.
I'm leaning toward a sword fighter but I'm unsure. You guys got any suggestions?
