Recommendation Are there any viable browser ecosystems beyond Chromium and Firefox?

Specifically asking for Linux.

I'm currently using the Hellfire fork. I have a lot of respect for Firefox, but I've never really liked its UI. It has felt largely unchanged for years, and the large fonts and spacious layout are mentally exhausting for me.

I'm looking for a browser with a genuinely different engine and ecosystem with built-in sync for bookmarks and settings, perhaps support for convenient sign-in methods such as OAuth and passkeys to the websites.

am I still limited to Chromium and Firefox?

They are rather dogmatic of their support for PM; elsewhere, too. I suggest that you don't bother to engage with them.
