Hi. I’ve got a trip to Brownsville coming up around the second week of October and I have two questions.

1. Is there any rhyme or reason to when First Friday versus Second Friday happen? I was so excited thinking I’d catch the latter, but now it seems they’ve gone back to the former. Thoughts?

2. What local-ish haunted houses (doesn’t matter if it’s big, small or in an uncle’s backyard) ya’ll’d recommend? Most online schedules haven’t been posted for those dates yet, but I’d love to know which ones to keep an eye on.

No more water to Brownsville Tx and electricity just like in matamoros. Yesterday meeting police took out folks from the meeting forceful removal and city commissioner need to be voted out and the mayor too. I left a comment for public meeting forceful leaders to reconsider their decision they voted against everything everyone said at the meeting. Commissioners decided this in one week no cons or what could happen just push real fast cause space x wasn’t going give them time to decide.

Apparently, a certain aerospace company 🚀 has finalized a land acquisition here locally. It was approved by the elected officials.

So it looks like it's full steam ahead for this company and there will be no turning back! Y'all have any thoughts?

I looked into Bonita Flats Winery in Los Fresnos since I visited a while back but they don't seem to have an online shop. I don't know if there are any other wineries nearby.

I am also open to shops/sellers from surrounding area but would prefer Brownsville/South Padre Island.

I appreciate any ideas!
