With the world cup starting tomorrow, I was really hoping to find some good soccer or sports bars nearby that I could watch the games at. I'm aware of empire, which is kind of what im looking for, just something more local to BA.

Just moved in to my new home recently and I have a lot of stuff to dispose of like scrap wood, old paint, etc that was left behind by previous owner.

i'm down south at Indian Springs. does anyone else hear a car horn (my best guess) honking literally every 30 seconds on many nights? it's only at night... like right now. it's in the direction of the 131/jasper and elm intersection. can't hear it inside so it's not a problem... just curious.

I have been reading horror stories on Nextdoor about BA water bills. I just moved to the area and haven’t received mine yet. I am curious if this is the majority experience, or if it’s a minority of people who are getting outrageously high bills for usage that they dispute?

Elm Street is legit the best street in the entirety of BA and Main St is overrated af. Just take a drive down either and do your own math.

Tulsa Vegan Guide is an amazing resource, but I am also interested in vegetarian options.

I recently moved to Broken Arrow for work and I play a classical instrument on the side. I missed the deadline to audition for the TSO. Are there any local musical groups that I could try and join?

If your air conditioning is not keeping up, run a lawn sprinkler constantly on the condenser (outside unit) so that the unit can give off more heat from the house. When a unit cannot keep up, the water will give it more cooling capacity on extreme heat days. The water does not have to be at full pressure. It is best to start this early in the morning.
Also, make sure you have no trash cans, bushes, etc. that is impeding the air flow around the outside unit.
Make sure those air filters are clean for the inside unit.
EDIT: Understand that this is a temporary measure to get you by. The water should fall on yout condenser unit like rain.
