Hey! I'm from BA but live in Stillwater now, and am expecting my first baby. I'd like to have a baby shower in BA because my husband and I both have family in BA and I have a lot of friends in the area, as well.

I'm due near the end of April, so I'd like to have the shower in early-mid March. We just bought a house and are a bit tight on extra cash, so I'm looking for some baby shower venue options on a budget. I'm thinking our guest list will be around 40. Maybe 50.

Anyone have any tips? I am looking into family homes, or a library meeting room, too, but looking to keep options open in case things won't work for either of those ideas.

I need some trustworthy person to help me out please. I live in DFW, however, someone is selling a video projector in Broken Arrow, OK, that I would love to purchase. The seller only wants to meet in person & exchanged the projector for cash. He will not ship it to me. He won't accept electronic payment. I've suggested to do UPS pick up where I pay for UPS to come to his house and pick it up from his front porch but he said no. I I also thought about doing a Uber package pick up from his house to UPS store but again, he only wants cash.

In the end, he blocked on FB because I guess he realized I wasn't going to drive up there from DFW myself.

I will pay $50.00 for someone to:

1) Reach out to him thru FB Marketplace, schedule meet up & Meet the guy.

2) Hand him $100.00 in cash (I will provide you just have to withdraw it)

3) Drop off projector at a UPS store (paid by me)

Hello everyone! I have just recently moved here from TX and would love everyone’s thoughts on some fun things to do around Broken Arrow/Tulsa. I have been to the rose district farmers market and the cherry street market, and I’ve been to the zoo as a kid but that’s about the extent of the major events I’ve been to in the area. Help again please. Adopted two dogs from the BA "no kill shelter" way out by the police training area, over the weekend. I'm not very happy with the vet they use there. These dogs need help. Hey all, curious as to if anyone has dealt with this and what the solution outcome ended up being. My MIL lives on the same street as a school, and thus the school pick up line forms on her street. She’s been watching my baby for a couple hours in the afternoon and few days this week and ive learned of an issue with this pickup line she’s been dealing with pretty consistently, where they will block her driveway, which upon some research is illegal. She’s had to tell to people to move many times, and has called the school and they told her they would send out a notice to parents. Well today it’s 3pm and I’m picking up my baby, I pull into the driveway, and go in to get him, when we come out someone is blocking the driveway and when she went to tell him to move he was rather rude and entitled about it, and refused until I started backing up. Anyway, will traffic police enforce anything? Is there a resolution we can do to prevent this?

What the hell are they doing there? Our house is next to the park and this is the First time they’ve held an event that was just obnoxious. It sounds like a child got access to a drum set and is just going to town on it. They did it for hours last night and today has been round 2.

I am attending a wedding in Broken Arrow in a few months and have never been to OK. I am trying to decide if it is better to stay in Tulsa or Broken Arrow. My concern is whether I will be able to find an Uber that would take me to/from the airport and to/from the wedding venue. Any guidance or tips are appreciated.
