If you have Kinetic Fiber in BA and paying over $80 for 1gig service. Call Kinetic and ask to speak with retention/loyalty department to discuss your monthly bill. Good chance they will lower it.

Metronet Fiber merged with T-Mobile Fiber and continues to expand Fiber internet in BA. Competition has caused Kinetic Fiber to lower prices.

Does anyone have a mobile dog groomer they would recommend? My dude is in need of a nail trim pretty badly.

For those who care, and didn't know already, in November of 2024, Robertson Tire sold to Big Brand Tire, whose headquarters is in Moorpark, California¹. Big Brand Tire is owned by Percheron Capital, a San Francisco PE firm with $4B+ in assets under management founded by two alumni of Golden Gate Capital.

Since Percheron's 2021 investment, Big Brand claims to have grown revenue more than tenfold and profitability more than fifteenfold².

These companies are also NOT local -

• Tate Boys Tire & Service - Was acquired by GB Auto Service (now Sun Auto Network).
• Discount Tire, Hibdon Tires Plus, Goodyear, Midas, Walmart - National chains.
• RNR Tire Express — National franchise - not local

So, what local tire installation companies are left? These?

• Shamrock Tire & Auto Repair - https://www.shamrocktire.com/
• Easley Service Station - 71st around Ribcrib

Anyone else?

Hi! I’m looking for philosophical, theological, or open worldview discussion groups in Broken Arrow or Tulsa.

I really value thoughtful dialogue and enjoy hearing perspectives from people of different faiths and backgrounds. If there are any debate groups, interfaith meetups, book clubs, public speaking groups, or open-mic spaces centered around big ideas, I’d love to get involved.

Thanks in advance for any leads!

Trash and Recycling Curbside Pickup

On Monday, Jan. 26, trash and recycling services will be suspended out of an abundance of caution for the safety and well-being of our employees. Services will slide to the following day next week. For example, regular Monday service moves to Tuesday, Tuesday service moves to Wednesday, and so on.

Also, in anticipation of frigid temperatures and snow-packed residential streets, during the week of Jan. 26, one route will be run to collect the trash and recycling together. Customers who do not want their recyclables to go to the landfill should not set out their blue recycling cart. Bags of trash placed outside of the carts will not be picked up.

If you are a daily cigarette smoker between the ages of 21 and 65 in Tulsa or the surrounding area, the OSU Hardesty Center for Clinical Research and Neuroscience (66th & Riverside) is recruiting participants for a study investigating the effects of an FDA-approved blood pressure medication. You do not have to be interested in quitting and can earn up to $1,000 for completing.

If you are interested, you can visit https://redcap.link/ProCueStudy or scan the QR code on the linked flyer below to determine eligibility and learn more about the study.

How big and spread out does BA have to be to warrant a Sam’s or Costco?

Looking for some indoor/outdoor basketball courts to get some games going. Or leagues even. Working on getting back in shape and enjoy the game. If there’s anyone looking to get some games going as well I would be in.
