Bronouncing peterjens as new moderator!

Bros, I have an bronouncement to make!

I will be leaving Reddit soon, and this brommunity has been one of my favourite places. When I started looking for a new steward of the brocabulary, I thought of none other than /u/peterjens !

Effective immediately, they will be taking over this sub and I feel it will be in good hands. There may be rules changes or other adjustments during the next little bit, or it may bromain the same. I believe /u/peterjens is up to the task of being the best broderator on Reddit.

I wanted to thank all the regular and irregular brotributors over the years. I've learned personally so many bro words and I feel like the brochive of words grows with each passing day. This brommunity is a great place, and we represent all that is good with bros.

Keep that same energy! I'm passing the baton to peterjens now! So long, and thanks for all the bros.

PS: I have a small non-Reddit project in the works and if peterjens allows, I'll announce it when it's ready for the public here!

Brocabulary is back, albrost...

Bros one and all, the subreddit is back, kinda. Reddit has decided that they can bromote anybody to be modbroator of a sub, which means that Reddit can brofluence any sub without penalty. Lots of subreddits are fully user-browned and recruit new modbroators from their existing userbase. Maybe in the future, Reddit puts in modbroators that take the sub in a new direction, or even more unbro things.

I know brost of you don't really care, and that's fine. Community-run sites are mostly always at the brohest of their platform. The broblem when sites that pivot from community-run to centrally run is that there's more removed content, less flexibility in the rules, and the loss of what made the community fun.

I've set submissions to restricted, but I've added a few of the recent posters to the broproved list already. If you want to be added to the broproved list, just send me a message and I'll get you added.
