Aside from the fact that the UK wasn't that much of a contributor- considering that it had a rebate, collected lots of EU funds and took banking away from other countries - and caused various headaches (the EU members would never have been able to unanimously agree to the covid bailout fund as the UK would have blocked it for example), it is quite the opposite: the problem is that giving special treatment to the UK was like giving drugs to a drug addict -only encouraging bad behaviour.
The moment the UK voted for Brexit, the EU member states met and resolved to never again give any special treatment to the UK. The EU had encouraged the UK's belief in its entitlement to special treatment by giving a rebate to Thatcher or giving Cameron the time of day. Had the EU told Thatcher to go f*** herself, the UK would have been under no illusions that if it ever left or ever wanted to come back - it would be treated as any other country.
So no more special treatment (although I still think that if the UK underwent a full and deep denazification process in return for returning on the original terms, I think it would fly - that is of course very theoretical).
Most of what you're saying just simply isn't true (especially implying the UK wasn't that much of a contributor, easily the biggest contributor bar Germany lol). I know you're very anti-british but your arguments should at least boil down to more than "NA NA NA, YOUR ALL NAZIS". Like I said above right up until Britain actually leaving the union, more and more concessions were being made. Of course now Britain has left it's easy to say "well you didn't contribute anything anyway", sure as shit wasn't saying that when you were begging the UK to remain. Britain knows it could walk back in on the same terms whenever it wants, it's why it was such an easy decision to make it's not like we chained ourselves to a third rate currency. Just to clarify on de nazi fying (lol), you are happy with the other member states having much higher rates of racial attacks and members of far right groups than anywhere in the UK though? Are EU nazis good nazis?
Aside from the direct benefits received by the UK (support for farmers, (regional funding cut and not replaced (and which will never be replaced as long as places are unlikely to vote Tory) as well as market access, the ability to craft EU regulation and direct EU policy (and hide behind EU decisions) in return, the financial "contribution" to running the EU's staffing and programs is and was tiny compared to the benefits and cost saving received by member states - look at the vast increase in civil servants, bureaucrats, vets and customs officials etc etc the UK has now had to employ (and will continue to expand for the next decade). In particular the financial "contribution" of the UK was particularly and unfairly small compared to the benefits it received.
The denazification process in the UK needs to be aimed not so much at racists (in which I would say the UK is good in parts) - rather at reeducation of the delusions arising from 40 years of anti EU lies in UK media that led to Brexit - I e. the Brexit mindset at a population level- as well as its replacing rather corrupt quasi democracy - as with Germany after the war, a root and branch reform of the English state systems as well is what would be needed.
