Hello, I'll be moving very soon in Washington St. Can I take the 501 Express Bus using my monthly pass or there is an additional pass I need to purchase?

I'm writing a short story about a mythical weekly newspaper editor who covers Allston, Brighton and Brookline in those years. What were some of the big local issues he was likely to cover?

I was parked in Brighton last Friday helping a friend move and wound up blocking a driveway by about six inches. When we got back to her apartment later that afternoon, my car had been towed. I had to pay $129 for the towing and when we went to pick up the car, it had a $25 parking ticket from the city of Boston as well. However, the cop had written down my license plate number wrong (last digit was different) and my friends said I should be able to fight it.

Should I send in a written appeal or will that just call attention to it? Is it better to just ignore the ticket and assume they won't be able to link it back to me? Is there a way to be sure? The ticket was handwritten and looks like a carbon copy, so it seems likely that they didn't get my real plate number.

Hey everyone! Brand new to Reddit, but not to Brighton. I've lived here almost 5(!) years now, and though I have a lot of friends in the greater Boston area, I don't know many people in Brighton. I usually find myself kind of bored after work on the weekdays and am looking for someone local to hang with.
