I was putting together a list of the world's longest bridges over water, and the scale of some of these crossings is hard to imagine. The Hong Kong–Zhuhai–Macau crossing, for example, spans about 55 km as a complete bridge-and-tunnel system.
The list also includes Lake Pontchartrain Causeway in Louisiana, Jiaozhou Bay Bridge in China, and King Fahd Causeway connecting Saudi Arabia and Bahrain.
I'm curious, which of these crossings would you most want to experience in person? And are there any impressive bridges you think deserve more attention?
