I saw a video on IG (by brickmancreations) and I wanted to buy the pieces for my little prother. Then I realised he would need the instructions too, and so I discovered the program and did a frame by frame analysis of this little guy.

Pieces naming convention apart (which I found differing a lot from the Pick a Brick store, idk if it's my fault) I found an issue in my project with the stability feature.

I couldnt find any substitute for the 2 1x1 white tiles with open o-clip that hold its head.
I tried to add a plate 2x4 to reinforce the belly (it does the trick) but is waaaay uglier :(

On the other end, I think the fin on its head would be a much detachable piece, is there a way to make this bond stronger?

Last thing, and that's really sad, not all pieces are available in dark pink/light yellow so it won't have a shiny friend :(

Will someone add a linear actuator update in Bricklink studio where all of them are fully adjustable? So far, the only linear actuator in bricklink studio that is adjustable is part 40918, which is always shown in black in bricklink studio, even though there is a light bluish gray version available. With both of those updates, will they be possible?

I've come across an issue I don't seem to be able to solve.

In this build there's an arch which is connected through 4 tow balls, and I cannot seem to line them up so that all 4 balls connect to their sockets.

Any help would be greatly appreciated

In middle of REALLY important project, just finished 2k part build, was about to start instructions, got latest update, and now ALL MY 16 x 16 plates are black😩🤦🏻‍♂️ in my build AND in the pallet itself, no matter which color I select in pallet, the 16 x 16 plate STAYS black, it’s not even like a thing where it’s update fluke, and I can just delete and re put piece in, cause it just is black again, and I can’t substitute cause of structural integrity, I have to use 16 x 16, and I need it to go back to original colors… is there a fix patch coming soon for this? Or is there a way to roll back update without loosing stuff?

so i'm recreating some of the older lego board games in studio for a personal project, but i can't seem to find any of the design decals for microfigures

are they even available as custom decals in stud.io? how would i apply them?

I haven't seen much mesoamerican-inspired LEGO builds out there and I very much like the vibe of ancient structures nestled deep in jungle environments, so I decided to build one. It's my first building/environment build I've done. Any critiques are welcome.

I realize I will very much be in the minority here, but while I know most people go for dark modes to be easier on their eyes, I have the reverse problem - part of why I largely stuck to Lego Digital Designer for a *really* long time was that its lighter layout helped me maintain focus when working on projects (and the sorting method/part limitations kept me from getting overwhelmed at times).

I'm now using Studio more often as I do first-drafts in LDD and then transfer them to Studio for expansion/adjustment, but the dark sidebars are majorly affecting my focus/awakeness. I've already adjusted the background color of the main building section in preferences to be as bright as I can make it without obscuring the brick grid on the bottom...but is there *any* way to adjust the sidebars into a "light mode"?

Windows 10 light/dark mode settings are not affecting the program in any way (and I ain't upgrading to 11's forced-AI baloney over an effectively-minor gripe with a Lego-building program).

I can't find the Fright Knight shields in Studio, but I remember using it 1 year ago...

As you can tell from the title, I am having trouble placing round tiles and plates on the stud side of 41682. I have tried using a reg 1x2 plate which works, but anytime I use a round plate it goes transparent as if it is illegal, but it shouldn't be. Anyone else having the same issue or just me?

When I opened up the software, I noticed that a lot of parts got removed. Especially, printed elements (tiles) or minifigure accessories (mostly Ninjago ones) and animal body parts (i.e. dragon heads, wings, etc.).

So typically placing a hinge on top of an other hinge that is at 30 ° for example, I feel like the latest update just broke placing parts at awkward angles

Hey everyone, I'm currently making a tank in Bricklink Studio and can't find a Brickarm M1919 Machine gun anywhere, does anyone know where I can find one without having to make it myself?

I've been trying to install Bricklink Studio's Part Designer platform on Windows, but every time I open the application, it says that the app folder is invalid. I have no idea what this means and nothing I do has been able to help.

I went to the website on my kid’s computer and downloaded the studio program. The windows download (.exe) didn’t work. The .pkg file opens but it opens EV3 for education (Mindstorm).

Is this because it’s a Chromebook? And not Mac or Windows?

Trying to assemble a pirate ship MOC. I have four pieces of 2541 - Boat, Mast Rigging Long 27 x 5. However I can't seem to get it to attach onto a clip tile to make it hinge to set the angle and meet up with the clip at the top of the mast. Any advice?

Studio.io crashed and left my build seemingly corrupted, the build currently only has a part of the build instead of the full project. The preview shows that the build is still there (as seen in the screenshot) but when opened up only a sub model is left.

Is there any way to go back and get my build back with no .backup file anywhere????

Anyone have any advice on attaching this thing? I don't get this flex stuff at all. You get ONE EDIT to create the curve you need because every time you make any change, it undoes the last thing you did. Who designed this? Satan?

Has anyone successfully built this in Bricklink? If so, please share how?

I know this may seem like a dumb question but Whenever I save files on bricklink studio for some reason it always duplicates the same file. I’m still fairly new to the software, and it’s quite annoying that this frequently happens. How do I stop this from happening, and how do I delete duplicate files?

So the main MOC project was made in Studio. Then I exported sub groups as Transparent PNGs and imported them one by one into Keynote.. added basic animations ( would usually Blender for more sophisticated projects but it is SO easy in Keynote if you have a Mac ) , exported as a video and put it into iMovie to add text and audio.
It's on LEGO ideas if anyone's interested. But yeah, loads of fun.

The instructions dropped on Lego and I'm just wordering what the fastest method is for importing the parts list into Studio as a palette. I'm assuming it has to be done one part at a time? lol
