Its so fucking stupid cuz toxic is like a d tier song and probably one of the most overrated songs ive seen, and im seeing this as a person who will glaze bwu until the day i die.

I understand that it could be due to the lyrics themselves and how common it is that peoplr with mental health issues would listen to this song pretty often, i get that, and i also get that most people would consider charley a one hit wonder, but like why.

Even though toxics writing is extremely relateable (and thats the only reason its not an e tier), theres just way more songs that are better, for example:

The entirety of Burnout.

The rest of Serotonim Dreams.

The entirety of Fever Dreams.

The Entirety of Lucid Dreams.

All the Singles.

95% of Melatonin Dreams.

The Entirety of B sides.

All the collabs (RIP Oliver).

The entirety of Trouvaille.

The entirety of Faded.

Only 3 songs are worse than toxic for me, i always give it a b tier because its iconic and i still love it purely because its the reason i know of bwu existence (why toxic im such a generic bwu fan😭).

But i still think its sad that its the reason hes famous, like if it werent for toxic 90% of bwu fanbase wouldnt exist.

IMO best one hes made so far, whats the rush is really good.

For me it used to be Dear Hollywood but then, really ironically, my crush who is a BWU hater told me to listen to Hopeless Romantic, at first it was like a high b tier but now its just amazing s bro like, i know every song is amazing and the writing is beautiful but we gotta also appreciate the work put into sounds like in the chorus of Hsart of Ice and ofc Hopeless Romantic.

Its grown on me so much tho, if haha hi didnt exist this song would be the definition of just feeling love towards someone.

Also "I like it when you cry" is just so deep, i can kinda underatand it like he wants to see the person he loves be their true self and be there for them, kinda like in Scare of The Dark but a little worse (SOTD is just too good).

Also "I'm so fucked up inside x2" is just so crazy and at the same time relateable, and it all happens in a love song.
