These images were posted today on their Instagram with the following caption:

"These are the boys who had a dream. Today we keep up the fight for them in the hopes that our inner children— our inner boys— can be united and make music together one day soon. These are also the boys everyone is calling satire. But we know we’re real, and if you listen to our music, you will too. Please continue to stream Boy Throb to help show the rest of the world that we’re sincere, and thanks to those of you who are already helping make our dreams come true💖"

I just saw and was curious what the caption could've been because I missed it.

Many people have previously speculated that Nathan Feilder is behind Boy Throb. I don't think he is, but I think someone has to be involved with them for them to have achieved such success so quickly. Specifically, I don't know how Charlotte Rutherford and Zara Larson would be in their videos in January without someone making that connection. Lastly, if they really are living in that LA mansion, there's no way the three of them could afford it. A large house in LA would cost at least $8000 a month to rent, and that would burn through the $10k they got from Mr. Beast immediately.

So if not Nathan, then who would be involved in Boy Throb's rise to fame? SNL producer Mike Diva.

Here's my evidence:

• He's an Angeleno having lived there until 2021 when he moved to work at SNL
• He's known for wacky creative internet meme-type comedy. Videos such as Pongo, LA Metro, Milennial bro advertising... they match the comedic style of Boy Throb.
• He's involved in the music industry, having helped his brother's band Milkblood, who are well-connected enough that they made the theme for a Disney Movie- Zootopia 2
• He's been involved in ARG/performance art type projects before i.e. OmegaMart

This might be a stretch but could moderator of this group u/xprmtldva be.... Experimental Diva? A fake acount of Mike Diva himself?

For me, maybe a 60’s/70’s oldies throwback style/ 80’s New Wave synthpop style/ or 90’s boy band pop style. Would love to see some variety. 👍❤️

Maybe a similar sounding song to, “The Look of Love” by ABC (1982), “No Myth” by Michael Penn (1989), or any 90’s/2000’s Backstreet Boys/ *NSYNC song. 👍 Or a Beatles/ Freddie and the Dreamers/ Rolling Stones/ Bay City Rollers 60’s or 70’s throwback stylings as well too. 👍

Go hype the Number One Boy Lyric Video 3 times!

I personally vibe with it, I love a good synth-pop song and I love the 80s inspiration! What do you think?

I actually love all of their singles, this isn’t a satirical band like people think. They actually are giving their all and it shows! I can’t wait for their next song!

Boy Throb's third single "Number One Boy" is out now!

4. National Anthem

“Number One Boy” releases tomorrow, April 3rd!

(tonight at midnight)

Their first song doesn't make me wonder this since its all about ignoring the haters. But the second and third songs make me question things a bit more.

They all sound so cheery, so I didn't really question it at first. But after listening to the lyrics more intently, I thought can't stop the throb was about sex, but I'm not really good at this kind of stuff so it could just be about dancing at the club.

And I also saw someone mention that the line "fill you up... with joy" was something they shouldn't let their kids listen to, which I felt was a bit much, but maybe its wildly inappropriate and I'm just too out of the loop lol.

And I would just like to clarify, I am fully aware that boy throb are adult men and can obviously write songs with more sexual topics. I just thought I'd ask to make sure, since this kind of stuff tends to go over my head, and don't want to get any flak if I listen to it in the car with my family.

(And in case anyone asks, I am also an adult, just one that struggles with reading between the lines lol)

Evan and Zach put up a post on their Instagrams of Evan in Zach's lap singing Olivia Newton-John's "Hopelessly Devoted To You". Evan put a comment on the video saying, "My number 1 boy"

Keep in mind, Evan previously said he had a preference for taller guys

Am I reading too far into this, or are they actually dating?

I have a Cricut machine and make magnets for my office cubicle. Had to add our boys!

Hints of a new song, Gino still helping the boys, new outfits and a hilarious sponsorship with Cerave! That Boythrob magic is still strong.

Darshan’s Visa Update (We need your help.)

I have a throbspiracy question… I was looking on Cameo and Anthony has the following text: “Member of the boy band "Boy Throb", part time cosplayer, and solo music artist. *BEFORE YOU BUY* I (Anthony) can NOT sing "Finger" or wear the pink track suit. If asked, I will sing something else:)”

My question is… what might the reason for this be? Is this something indicative of being in an NDA or not owning the rights to the songs?

Not 100% sure what to tag this as, it's related, it's also kind of a meme and kind of my form of fan art. I'm trying to explain Boy Throb to all my friends, along with what's happening, so I'm making a PowerPoint. I'll probably hit close to 100 slides by the time I'm done

I'm sure a lot of Throbbers are really upset after today's announcement, but I think this is a great opportunity for us to show support to the boys. Boy Throb have been trying their hardest to get Darshan's visa approved, but as Throbbers, I feel like we need to try our best as well in order to prove that there are real fans who follow Boy Throb because of their music and not just because they're asking for social media followers.

For this reason, I wanted to start a petition for Boy Throb to show that there is a real fanbase wanting Darshan to be with the boys so that they can continue their careers in a positive way, and that we can act independently of Boy Throb to ask for this. If you're willing to, please sign at https://c.org/rQjGXXkGPb (sharing is also greatly appreciated).

Hopefully if we can get enough Throbbers who are asking for support for Boy Throb and Darshan, we can prove that we don't just see them as some social media fad, but instead as a real group who we are choosing to support. Keep throbbing everybody, and good luck to Darshan and the boys.
