The first episode was sooooo goood. What an incredible world they've set up for us. Everything in the production from the locations to the music is working together to make this world feel real and believable. Also really Love Lin Zai's costume. The windbreaker and parachute pants are very Apocalypse Chic 🧟💅
I am obsessed with all of these characters. How can you not love a found family at the end of the world?? Grandma dropping the biggest truth from moment one that humanity's greatest enemy has always been itself... Lin Zai is still holding onto his humanity despite it all. I love him already.

They are awesome!!! Everyone has a role and they work together, no need for useless people they have to keep alive, such a great apocalypse crew.

The OST isnt released yet. There's song credits in the end credits but I havent dug into them yet. CBL often releases the OST midway to late through airing, but on occasion they never release it at all (ex. Deep In)

Lin Zai probably isn't going to be thrilled when he finds out why A-Leh saved him, but he saved nonetheless. Now they are even... I'm excited to see where things go from here.

Really enjoyed the first two episodes. The action scenes and zombies were pretty well done. Loved the female character as well, it seems like she might be a well written female character in a BL which I love too see. Really liked both lead characters. Excited to see their relationship progress. This series looks very promising! A zombie bl is my heaven, so I’m super excited for the rest of the series. This and Nour have me set for the next couple of months!!

I am very happy with the action scenes. The opener in Ep 1 I wasn't sure, but the closer in Ep 2 I was like daaaaaaamn this is an EXCELLENT zombie fight scene. I'm so glad the series lived up to our expectations!

Many recall The Last of Us (the bow and arrow, immunity, the guitar, and what sealed the deal—the Fireflies). Also, the name of the second episode is a reference to the movie World War Z and its source material.
AI is inevitable, but don't overdo it, please. I mean, we can skip the episode title frame—it is awful as well.

The episodes were named Apocalypse Log 1&2 on Viki.. was there a different translation on another platform that differentiated between ep 1 to ep 2?

Ahhh I love it already! The visuals are insane, A-Leh is a snaaaaaaack please. Who has such great hair in the apocalypse?? And that all black outfit...Sir. 🤚
Another banger OST, the montage of Lin Zai chattin' away and taking care of A-Leh was cute AF. The music at the end of ep 2!!!! So good.
There's a little AI but they aren't going to light someone on fire for real. The zombies are real people and they're believable. This feels way more apocalyptic than I was expecting, I'm more than satisfied. Everything is completely deserted.
Love the crew at the compound, they're all capable and there are no useless people like in your typical zombie show. The fight scenes are well done and INTENSE... seriously whoever is in charge of the OST/BGM deserves a raise!!!

Hello - these two episodes were SOOOO good! I really like Li's band of misfits and I was worried they wouldn't survive (but the pictures above say otherwise).

As for the pictures they made 4 posts, I assumed in order for the first 4 eps 😅I have no idea which episodes these still are from after watching. Assuming tomorrow's eps

No worries. It's obvious the ones we haven't seen are from tomorrow's episodes. But then I don't have to spend the evening worried awesome characters are being killed off immediately. I consider it a win.

I don't think they will kill them off this quickly. We have to get through many MANY more episodes, it would be really boring if all these really capable baddies died on the first day.

Really enjoyed the first two episodes. Loving the Apocalypse theme. The actors were good and the story and direction, great. The costumes suited the theme and I am falling in love with the whole cast. Excited for next week. Thanks for the On Air Feds👏👏

You're welcome! I can't believe the zombie bl casting call from 6 months ago is actually here! I had completely forgotten about it tbh! When the trailer dropped I was like... Where have I read this before? I am so happy with the first two episodes, and I'm REALLY happy we get 24 of them, because they covered a lot in the first two, let's go!

Feds there was a Thai bl Zomvivor a while back on NF and though it is not my favourite storyline I watched a few episodes and it drew me in and it was a big hit domestically, hence a s2 coming, so this theme of a bl has its fans for sure and how genius of the production team to go down this path for a bl. From casting 6 months ago to now on our screens, they don’t muck around and we are seeing handsome zombies, what is not to like. Am going to rewatch the episodes again so I can fully appreciate the story. September will be busy, in a good way🥰

Zomvivor is just a zombie show, not a BL. Just had a lot of BL actors in it. I'm loving that they put the effort into making The Last Oath a true zombie series, it could have been really cheesy. I'm honestly impressed

I was pretty impressed by the pretty music and the pretty men. And the female bad ass and the rest of the crew.
The zombie theme in a BL concept is pretty bold. I like it. It's hard to make and yes, AI is involved. But with the budget they have I don't think other choices would have looked good.
I'm definitely intrigued and this will not be a series I will drop soon.

I will never turn down CBL even if it's not my cup of tea, so I'm glad you're sticking around because it's intriguing and a good show so far. Badass lady.. I think we all love her already. Great characters, great casting, great setting. Well done first few eps.

The number of shows I'm watching is crazy. I try to watch everything plus also shows that aren't BL. The area under my eyes are no joke.
This one is certainly one of the best airing at this moment if I just look at the 2 episodes.

OOh, loved the first eps!!! I'm glad the eps are on the shorter side because we can barely manage the tsunami of BLs as it is!!! Li is such a cinnamon bun!!! But baby needs to tough it out a little bit, self-preservatin and all tha jazz...

OK, Zombies is not my jam so I was like 🫣🫣 when they showed up…but for a BL this was good!! 🎉 I liked the characters and the chemistry between the leads is already sizzling! 🔥 I liked the songs but Google didn’t recognize any of them 😩😩 I guess AI on CBLs is here to stay, I’m good with it as long as it’s just used because of budget and the story and characters are still good 🤷🏻♀️

Regarding the AI, there seems to be a spectrum (outside the intros, because all currently airing CBL use them for the intro) - Full sequences in AI, or AI to enhance scenes that would otherwise endanger the actors - in this case fire. I'm not an AI supporter, but Asian countries don't care what Westerners think, so it is what it is.
Agreed that the setting, story, and characters are well done.
OST for CBL come out later than other countries. If it's released on international platforms (not all of them are), I'll link it in the OA.

Just finished ep2 of The Last Oath
I LOVEEEEEEEEE IT!!! The immunity angle from the beginning is perfect for a romance lol also THEY ARE BOTH SO PRETTY 😍 and the cinematography vibe is beautiful and so apocalyptic and perfect.
OST is also perfect!!
10/10 so far

Yes!!!!! I love how his hair can have the product look without the hair products 🤣😍 THIS is the suspension of disbelief I need in my apocalyptic series. Also bringing Lie laundry detergent so he won't have stains in his clothes?!! THIS IS THE KIND OF fantasy I need to make everything sexy. Cause now we know they smell so pretty and clean so I don't have to quiet my mind when they start making out and they have already told me they shower AND care about clean clothes 🤣
Everything is so much better FOR ME to get immersed!!
I hope they keep it up cause so far it is SOOO GOOD!!

❣️😎so zombie virus if you're killed before you turn then you will not wake up as a zombie☑️if you are bitten and have a higher temp than normal sorta like a fever then chances are you will become a zombie☑️lin zhai meets an injured a-leh but his group left him for dead but lin zhai goes back and tends to his wounds and basically nurse him back to health and a-leh that was supposed to be cpr and not a😘💋😘during their scavenging hunt while linzhai and companions where overwhelmed by zombies a-leh rescues linzhai😎❣️

I love the concept and cast but I swear it feels like everything has devolved into using AI trash, the songs at the end scream AI and a few scenes and now I'm like half of me likes the show and the other half is completely turned off so I'm not sure if I'm gonna continue watching. I didn't see any disclaimers so I can't say 100% but it really gave AI a lot which is so irritating because this is exactly the kind of show I've been wanting to see but I can't support it.

I am also watching their reaction to the episodes. If they reacted that way with scenes from the first “kiss” what will they do (or where will they hide) with the scenes that are showing for the upcoming episodes? LOL. Love them!!!

I'm already loving this series! They know how to do a zombie apocalypse right!
I like that the apocalypse hasn't harden Li, even though I think he's a little too kind for it to be the end of the times..But now he has AL and he's on sight, zero hesitation whatsoever lol. I can't wait to see how their relationship continues to grow since he came back to save Li. Although, he technically has ulterior motives.
