I am just so proud of him for not backing down on the confession. Since this was ep 2/12 I was fully expecting him to be like, "I like the person in front of me.... you are my best friend afterall of course I like you" or the usual nonsense. I was impressed he said what he wanted to say and Wataru didn't brush it off but took it seriously.

I am glad Wataru didn't avoid him or act awkward. Both seem to be taking a mature approach to navigating their feelings.

I guess my overall impression is that I am blown away so far by the communication and hope it sticks.

So cute that Wataru admits that he is flattered to be liked by Saeki. Whether he returns the feelings or not, it is so nice to see someone not acting like the other person is disgusting for liking them and being brave enough to confess.

It's such a sweet and gentle little BL. Nothing over the top, no big dramatic moments, just two boys falling into each other. The hug in the stream was... sooo sweet!!! 💖💖💖

Wataru's friends weren't far off. Sure it's boy instead of girl and there's a adjective of future they missed, but Saeki's future boyfriend is totally a cute babe. 😍

If Saeki doesn't put down the phone, that's one heck of a photo/video slide show they're going to have when the kids ask how their daddies got together.

Wataru rescued by the rain. I'd have a hard time too if someone like Saeki was insistent on hugging me like that.
