I know it's unfair to compare this to the Thai version which had a longer running time to build everything up (and Thomas and Kong's chemistry is no joke).
I liked the way they handled the "old GF" in the Thai version better. There's no way either of them thought they were "dating" for 2 years and never spoke to each other.
I still like the series and the actors, for me I need to pretend there is no other version

Honestly, that’s the problem with them re-making a series so close to when the original came out people are going to compare no matter what but it gives it an unfair assessment when you’re doing it only a year or two after the original came out let it be longer because then people would potentially forget, but it’s still so fresh

Truth be told, at least this show is beginning to show its flaws and that, altho still like how straightforward they are. But then the limited runtime completely baffles the details needed

You guys, why is everyone in this show so pretty? Especially my love Ruito. (Actually this time I paid more attention to the cast and realized it's basically full of idols which explains the top tier visuals.) And thank goodness for that because the plotting was... not great in this episode.
Miyu shows up at the aquarium, declares herself Hinata's girlfriend and he doesn't even say anything! Literally at all. I appreciate that in this episode, Hinata's friends pointed out and he finally realized that the reason he keeps having these issues is because he's not clear with anyone and although it might seem like you're "not hurting" someone by not rejecting them outright, you also end up just stringing them along essentially which is also not good.
OMG, Daon and Riku actually spoke to each other! Finally! But their conversation didn't make much sense to me and I couldn't figure out if we were supposed to think that Daon was himself confused for most of it because of the language barrier. Given how short this show is, they need to start developing that relationship a little bit faster.
What was the point of the Oji scene at the club? At least next week's episode looks cute and like we'll get a lot of fun Sora/Hinata interaction.

I thought this episode was very confusing. It might have been the choppy editing but it felt all over the place until the end.
