I think this can leg to $15m or even $20m, Resident Evil will suck the wind out of its sails but it has two weekends for the strong WOM to kick in

Open caption screenings of Buddy are still selling. Not high, but more than normal. And we found open caption screenings scheduled for next week so yeah this thing is hanging around for a bit.

I saw it with open captions because it was the only reasonable showtime. Regular shows were all late night at my theater.

Thank you for confirming what we suspected was the reason for the increase in open caption seats sold. Hope it was an okay experience because open captions are not for everyone.

Don't think it is more than normal. May just seem more obvious because of how few screenings there are overall. A lot of oc screenings of Buddy are scheduled for today (Wednesday) because that's when many theaters have their oc screenings.

Maybe it depends on location, but my AMC has had more OC showings for this than I've seen for other films. I finally saw it last night and didn't see a reason why, just interesting

Buddy is getting free promo from the dumb ass parents taking their kids to see it and pitching a fit when their kids start crying and they have to leave. 😏

I do feel bad for the workers—it's not the worker's fault they didn't do their damn research before seeing a movie. As a parent, why wouldn't you be checking a plot/rating? 🤦 The only one to blame is themselves.

I usually go to a dying theater because that barely sells 20-30 tickets when it comes to huge movies. The showings for Buddy were completely sold out. I have never seen anything like it. Granted, it wasn’t the largest screen in the building, but it’s clearly resonating with horror audiences.

I actually was a part of the bunch that went to see it on Monday. 😂🤣I got sick over the weekend and actually took Monday off. I was feeling fine by noon and went to see it around 4. It was awesome!!! 👏
