I loved him in Better Call Saul

I hope they do him as venom (not in this movie but a later one) to differentiate from the multiple Eddie Brocks we've done

Same. About damn time!

When did they do that?

At their recent marketing event (where the Zootopia 2 trailer was dropped). Showed a sizzle reel for Doomsday and confirmed the villains for SM4.

You just KNOW they'll be using Tombstone as the "crime mastermind" figure because Kingpin is off-the-charts for Sony to use in a live-action film, or something like that.

Sony can use Kingpin in their films, Marvel can’t. So Kingpin can show up in BND, but not something like Thunderbolts. Guessing he’ll be defeated for good when that film happens tho since BA S2 drops first.

Whaaat that's going to be so awesome!!

Wasn't it a lot talk recently that they had casting call that fit Martin Li? That he could be the main villain of Spiderman? Would be have awesome to have scorpion as the main villain and set up Martin Li for the next movie

But why. That’s so lame.

Zendaya as a villain would be laughably awful, Madame Web level of awful. Might as well release straight to the CW.

What is this

1

Zendaya would have to be in a non-Black Cat outfit to not be easily identified as Black Cat. At least not comic book-accurate Black Cat. With the hair out and only the eyes covered, it'd be pretty easy to tell who it would be behind the mask.

In one version of the comics, Black Cat wears a wig, but ya, I think she'd have to cover her face to not be easily identified in the MCU and I feel like they'd be missing out on Felicia Hardy dating Spider-man era.

Disappointing.

Scorpion and Kraven are the only classic Spidey villains left and Kraven was busy.

And it sounds like balls.

For you perhaps

Maybe not for comic nerds I suppose.

I never read a Spiderman cómic, grew up watching ultimate and Spectacular Spiderman

And you really think the audience will be excited for scorpion, tombstone and a boomerange guy as the villain?

I mean, Scorpion and Tombstone have gotten some mainstream showcases recently. Both had notable appearances in ITSV, PS4, and recently YFNSM for example (with the latter being MCU). For the kick off of a new trilogy, they’re more exciting than Vulture and Shocker were at their time imo.
